That is my hope. It seems like it takes injuries for Ime to do the right thing. Amen would probably still be sitting on the bench if it weren’t for an injury to Jabari. I’ve said it a million times this year, quit throwing sh*t against the wall, and play a traditional rotation. Let these guys build some synergy.
The rotation that makes the most sense to me--with the players we have-- looks like Sheppard / Davison / Holiday Eason / Okogie (but we really need a guard here) Amen / DFS Durant / Jabari Sengun / Adams / Capela I'd be happy to let Amen bring the ball up and initiate at times. If you wanted to bring Sheppard off the bench, move Amen to the point, and start Okogie, I'd play along. Or you could even swap Davison and Sheppard so there's more shooting off the bench. Perhaps until Eason can play again, it would look like Davison / Sheppard Amen Okogie Durant / Jabari Sengun I'm not slandering Sheppard by saying Davison is better or anything silly. I'm just trying to balance a roster that is still unbalanced and that needs a trade. I'm also looking to get Durant in better matchups with PFs where he doesn't look a step slow. Jabari can provide some energy and potential scoring pop if the D rotates away from him. What I don't like (and what doesn't work) is the all length frontline of Durant, Jabari, and Sengun. They really are slow on D.

Why a shooting guard? That really doesn't solve our problems? $18,797,619 That's DFS and one of Capela / Tari, then you have 2 weeks to sign a 14th player which they would have just enough cap space to sign a minimum for the rest of the season.
Honestly don't mind Clarkson for Okogie. He was pretty good in the play in and the Knicks don't use him very much. Kolek would be a great get if it only cost 2nds.
It helps. Sheppard can come off the bench where he is available. Monk is a good 3 point shooter. You are wrong about needing a pg.
Depends on how they we and they feel about Sheppard, but you’re probably right. Bey and Alvarado are both better players right now.

Team chemistry with a growing team is very important. This only makes sense, if KD demands a trade at the February deadline.
Butler also has a torn acl, though for those draft picks i would do that trade for sure (26 pick sucks though, i would want 2 picks further away)
I know he has an acl, that is why I proposed it. GSW wouldn’t be interested if he hadn’t gone down. it’s just for fun, but if both teams agreed, I’d do it in a second. Durant’s a bad fit for us and he’ll probably get hurt before the year’s out and we would have a lottery pick in a great draft in 26. You might have to take Kuminga instead of some of the other guys, but I would be doing it for the draft picks anyway and to get rid of Durant. Butler could be bought out or traded as an expiring at next year’s deadline. By 28, maybe Ime is gone and we can compete with a re-engineered roster and Sengun and Amen coming into their own. My theory is to give up at least this year to development and maybe next if Ime is still around. Continue to build out a young all-star roster like OKC.

Ya i agree, we wouldn't get a lottery pick b/c GS would be way better with KD than with butler, plus KD hates them so he would say no (though he doesn't have a NTC). I know this is a purely for fun idea but i would be on board.
