His irrational confidence is the reason he shot nothing but 3s and bricked them all leading to our losses.

He needs to be realistic and realize he isnt the next KD and stop settling for those dumb shots when he isnt hitting. Having irrational confidence makes him worse not better its called irrational for a reason. Being irrational is a bad thing not a good thing.

He is only 22 theres a lot of time for him to improve but he will never improve if he has this irrational confidence you keep encouraging. Just look at Nick Young or Westbrook those guys are irrational confidence personified. Did they ever improve? No, because they have irrational confidence they think they are already perfect.

To be fair I am noticing the Rox generate a lot of open looks from 3 now they just arent hitting. Every opponent plays box and 2 now 100% of the time so aside from KD who always gets guarded everyone else is open from 3. They should be taking shooting drills day and night.

Wouldn't a box and 2 require 6 players? No wonder the Rockets are losing.

Charles Barkley said when he joined the Rockets: "They'll have to double team Hakeem. They'll have to double team me. They'll have to double team Clyde. That's six people."

Jabari gives his detractors too many reasons to squawk. Would be nice if he didnt.

A triangle two is a thing. You usually see it in college.

My thing is that if we are building around Amen and Sengun, we have to surround them with 3 shooters at all times. So if Bari is going to start or play big minutes he has to shoot at a high level. It’s really that simple. Let’s keep this 2-game hot shooting streak going!!!

I was told by the anti-Bari squad that he’s a terrible POA defender. Well, he clamped Wemby several times last night.

I wouldn't say terrible; just not good (especially compared to a few of his teammates).

Sorry, I just don't agree with that at all.

Is he as good of a POA defender as Eason and Amen? Obviously no.

Is he an above average POA defender? Yes, and he's improving in that area.

Is he a fantastic help defender? In my opinion, yes.

Jabusti Bust Br. is a net negative on the court with his gangly legs and arms flying all over the place... doing nothing

Plus, I heard he called our golden boy, Reed Sheppard a "work in progress"

Just for that flagrant violation of poor sportsmanship I say we cut him and see how he fairs on the streets-like the guy who ****ed Lebron's mom, what's his name.

...wait what are we doing? Did he have a good game this time? Oh well, then, I always had faith in him. Big men take longer, you know.

lol compelling argument there. The anti-Bari squad seems to be losing steam.

I’ll give him props, he was effective on his contests last night.

I still didn’t like the process. He was still allowing comfortable dribbling and letting guys get to a spot with space for a good shot to be put up.

This time he got to the recovery blocks and his contest at the end altered some shots but it’s playing with fire, I’m doubtful it’s going to deliver the consistent results we’re looking for.

No reason to explain it over and over again. If Jabari is not making his shot, he brings nothing to the table.

Tari is better than him. Potentially DFS is also when fully healthy. Unfortunately neither is dependable at this point because of health concern.

I left out Amen and Okogie because they are not big man defenders. They are supposed to be the primary POA defenders.
