I’m not interested in their free throw attempts against schools like Oakland, Jackson State, Rider, etc. In their only loss (by three), Houston had 11 free throw attempts and Tennessee had 29. In their one-point win over Auburn, UH had 12 free throw attempts and Auburn had 33. Arkansas had 35 free throw attempts to Houston’s 25. Florida State had 18 attempts to 9 for UH. Baylor, in a 22-point loss, still had 31 free throw attempts to 13 for Houston. The only close game (against a p5 school) I remember where Houston had a noticeable advantage in attempts was against Texas Tech.
Fair points for sure. I guess this is yet another media-driven anti-Houston-sports conspiracy of refereeing instigated by the corporate overlords in New York!
