If the trade off of losing Caley is that McDaniels comes in for a year (he has the trust of Meco to run the offense), I think I would be ok with the 3rd OC in 3 years I just think McDaniels is going to end up a HC or the highest paid OC in the NFL
Honestly, I'm not surprised he can't seem to read the room before speaking. After his performance and being sent home from the playoffs, the words "I played well" should not be said.
#7 is not "CJ" anymore. Give him some nobody name like "Cole" or "Bernie/Bernard." (Not even "Bernie," because that would be an insult to the great Bernie Mac) Every time I see his sulky mug face, I get disgusted
that's if McDaniels is interested in being an OC. i'm sure he prefers to be a HC some where instead. if he can't get a HC position then i'm all for it to get him as an OC.
Defensive coordinators have figured out Stroud and Caley to the point it's very embarrassing. One or both need to go
It was a mistake hiring a first time OC after just firing your other first time OC. I hated it at the time, hate it now.
Absolutely not. Mac Jones is not a long term solution. They should spend a 2nd or 3rd on a qb to sit on the bench for a year while Stroud plays out his deal to earn an extension.
mac jones starting or back up? If starting, then you aren’t serious about winning. Tbh I am not sure how you resolve the QB issue. I think we all know that stroud will be the qb next year but not paying him or extending is a step toward the right direction.
When did Mac Jones become coveted? We don't have a McCaffrey or Kittles to help him thrive... And I still wouldn't want him starting if we did
