Apparently, we tried to trade up to get ersery. Got him anyways.

Glad we drafted him... won't change my mind that they had Banks Jr. & Donovan Jackson ranked higher.

And unless I hear it from BDN himself, DJ was the target. Even if he denied it, I would still believe MN sniped the heck out of us.

We got the 4th ranked G/T on my list and I am ok with it.

To get to the next level, we'll have to beat teams who are big and strong on the line. This is the element I see on both sides of the ball last off season. We still have the speed, but the depth is enough different that we are never totally outmatched. The Offense is adjusting coaching, scheme and introducing more quick separating players WITH EXPERIENCE and depth with higher ceilings rather than higher floors who might start quickly/

I'm not predicting it all works, but the potential is there to be much better than ever before. And not only can we take on Baltimore and Kansas City to get to a Superbowl, but we might have the personnel to beat the Philadelphia or new Philadelphia in a Superbowl.

The one thing i think I can bet on is we'll have more cuts from camp signed by other teams than almost any other team unless we have another huge IR/PUP list.

Man just imagine if Brown and Ersery were able to come in and play at a high level day one. That would give the Texans the size you're looking for on the ol. The Texans are fine size wise on the DL

Not surprising, missed out on him by 1 pick. Wonder what it would've cost to move up a few spots and bring Jackson home?

Prior to last year's draft it was my opinion that we should have loaded up on OL in rounds 1 & 2 and that there were some quality receivers that we could probably take thereafter. I was pushing for Ersery and I was thrilled when we obtained him. However, we should have taken TWO stud OL with our first two picks.

Yep. No chance we get to draft him but he'd be perfect next to Al-Shaair and then take over for him

I don't understand the point he is making?
They were bad picks? They were good picks and should have been used more?

Could have drafted the C/G Wilson from Georgia. Patriots took him and he dominated
