would be a pretty massive overpay, throwing away assets because you think someone is bad at drafting is extremely poor planning
I guess it depends on if Alvarado will sign a new contract here, and at what price. I could see him as a long term very good backup point guard for us who anchors the bench, which is worth a late first rounder IMO. Fred is out of here after next season I assume
It really depends on how ballsy the front office is, a first round exit and KD could be traded and we take a step back into rebuilding. KD likes Texas, he has no major ties to Houston specifically, and you can tell he knows this. We need to be able to pivot more quickly though than we have the past few years. The lack of consistency and inability to beat teams they should beat, makes me think this team could flame out early in playoffs unless they figure things out ASAP.
Oh well this is like the gimpiest, zero chutzpah having, wonderbread and miracle whip assembly of fortitude ever pulled together. So they'll do nothing, resign one leg Tari and pretend like Fred coming back fixes all these problems. And since that would get us beat in the 2nd round instead of the 1st round, they'll call it improvement and try to re-sign Durant for another 2 seasons. I just scared myself to death, trade Durant NOWWWW
Have they ever led to anything? Not discouraging any inside info, but I don't remember any coming to fruition. Maybe I'm mistaken.
just asking - - how healthy would DFS have to be to pass a physical? And if he can pass a physical IMO he’s more valuable than what he could return in trade.
He’s right. We will indeed be very exited very soon come playoff time. Eh very forced but I had to do it.
