Yeah, this is where I'm at as well. If they are stupid enough to sign him to that extension, then the Texans will have created the next Tua contract - one that they'll find themselves desperate to escape in a few years.

 

I'm taking some time off. The pain of unmet expectations would make any of my comments highly irrational.

 

Haven't been here a long while, but today is the day! haha...What can I saw that hasn't already been said. Stroud is terrible, Defense is great, we will lose some players and coaches and start all over again...Great season to come back, but disheartening to lose the way we did...

 

His absolutely pathetic performance is the perfect reason to tell him "**** you, prove it" if he wants an extension.

The Texans can control him for 3 more years without contract extension, there's no reason to reward failure.

Also, the fanbase that showed up in the streets to support a literal rapist won't even be there for CJ if the team plays hardball with him.

Giving him an extension would be an unforced error.

I actually thought this was him for a minute. Stroud does have that soft gumby body like he's never lifted weights in his life.

 

And that's still being nice, the real number is likely in the 40's

Not lost on me this game. Jayden Higgins was routing up Christin Gonzalez all game.

That looks like another hit for Caserio on a WR.

 

I saw that too. If Nico is going to be hurt all the time, we’re going to need Higgins to be a hit.

we had the one game earlier this season where Nico was out and Noel and Higgins looked like they were on there way and not much since.............Noel is my head scratcher, that feels like a wasted pick as of now

 

Make no mistake, if we had pulled off a victory yesterday, the Texans would have been obliterated in Denver. Would not have been even close.
