I can't stand you DeMeco. You idiot! Listening to his press conference makes me taste vomit in my mouth. Mills had 5 touchdowns and 1 interception against Jacksonville, Denver, Tennessee, and the Bills. No way in hell would he have played as bad as CJ. You two are the reason we lost today. You, because you didn't want to hurt his feelings, and him for being a choker. Did he rip into him at halftime? Nope, he told him he loved him. SMH at wanting to be buddies more than coaching to win. I'm so disgusted, disappointed, and pissed off about today.
Nick Caley and the last OC would both be head coaches by now if they had ANYONE other than CJ. Disgusting, Kyler is another midget QB that got outplayed by Jacoby Brissett. I'm not getting a dude that needed a film study clause in his contract.
Just watched Caleb Williams make an easy throw out infront of his receiver so he could run with it. Must be nice
You've gotta expect him to say that in public, but if he's saying that in private, the GM needs to step in and make that not an option anymore.
Caley was struggling to call plays in the 3rd which cost the Texans 2 timeouts. He was consistently looking at his chart with under 20 seconds left. That's inexcusable.
I understand that conditions were about as unfavorable for CJ as they could have been. Receiving corps obliterated by injuries. O-Line has been up and down all season, and more down than up. Runningbacks weren't getting anything done during the first half. Awful weather conditions. But too many of his mistakes were mental mistakes, in both playoff games. He looked lost out there, pressing constantly. The easy passes were overthrown or underthrown, the passes that shouldn't have been passes were interceptions. If it was just that guys weren't catching catchable balls (and there were a few like that, to be fair) or the O-Line completely broke down and there was nothing he could do, that would be one thing. But the majority of those plays were just bad passes and/or bad decisions. After his rookie season I thought we had finally find our franchise quarterback after constantly cycling through subpars and one talented sh*thead in Watson. Now I'm wondering if we're back to square one.
Defense played below their standard but certainly good enough to win. Patriots hit a few plays, got a few timely flags. The diggs and boutte catches were just credit the opponent type plays, but patriots got on top of every single turnover opportunity and we didn’t fall on the ball when we had a shot. all that, and if we close in the second half we still win the damn game. it’s so heartbreaking knowing that a simply poor QB performance likely wins the ****ing game. You just can’t be historically bad.
