You said Brady in your post didnt you? Not saying CJ is Brady but you want to bench a 23 year old QB who has 2 playoff wins and several more good performances in losses in the playoffs for a questionable Davis Mills? Im glad Demeco is coaching
We’ve got the same weather here in BK currently and it’s not that bad. Just kinda gray and gross. Drizzly mix of snow and rain but not a lot of wind. Should be a bit sloppy in foxborough but doesn’t seem it will have an outsized impact on either team.
I thought I said “if he struggles” I’m not asking for Stroud to be benched at the start. But comparing him to Montana or Marino or Brady is where this whole thing gets stupid. Stroud is not some untouchable star. He probably never will be. He looked really bad last week. Has been very average all year. He was average last year. Looks afraid to run the ball. If he’s struggling and hurting the team, he should he benched. Heck, it could be his concussion.
I don’t feel very good about this game given that it’s likely to be a sloppy snow/sleet/mud game. The Patriots have a much better run game and the run defenses of both teams are pretty much equal. Here’s hoping for the best.
According to PFF numbers, CJ was the 2nd worst performing QB in the wild card round, if he starts to repeat that dogshit performance, you have to at least consider going with Mills....who the Texans are undefeated this season in games he starts. I know you have delusions of CJ being some top tier QB, but he's middling at best...that's not the kind of QB you let doom a playoff run when 1 win would effectively get your team into the SB.
Cleaned the kitchen counters, swept and mopped the kitchen and living room. I'm now taking a break with a Miller Lite. The house is going to be spotless and I'll probably be drunk by halftime
Patriots defense based on...... the weakest schedule in the league. Literally the worst. If Texans can run the ball (OL looking better gelled), this might be a 20-point blowout.
Overconfident Pittsburgh fans sounded just like this week's overconfident Patriots fans. They just don't know you play football on a field and not on a spreadsheet. Don't get me wrong. I love spreadsheets. But this isn't an appropriate application.
Hey, I'd LOVE for that to actually be true, but I haven't started drinking yet, so I'm stuck dealing with reality for now.
Wow, I just looked this up. The Patriots competition had a combined .380 winning percentage, Texans at .537. The Texans definitely had the hardest schedule in the NFL considering they went 10-5 and all 4 teams above them in opponents winning percentage won 3 or less games.
I'm currently in Singapore and the game starts at 4am here. Not a single bar shows the game nor is it on any television. Count yourself lucky youre in America
