    Cod,
Respond with a # if the rockets are going after Grand Theft Alvarado. Respond with a * if the rockets are going after Coby White. Respond with a ^ if they are going after Jrue Holiday (I don’t see how that money could work). Respond with a + if the rockets are going after Daveon Mitchell.

Do NOT go all in with KD, it is clear we need more time to develop with players like Reed, Amen and Sengun - KD was the wrong time, and he demands too much of the ball on offense not letting others touch it or be effective moving off of it, they stand around for those last late in the shot clock passes.

They need to sit down with KD and tell him to take a BACKSEAT and let Reed and Amen and Alpi lead the team, KD should be a finisher, not a lead dog, he is atrocious on defense, very lazy, doesn't move for crap.

This team is appreciably worse this year because we are too KD focused.

We should be leaning heavily into Amen, Reed and Alpi with KD taking a supplemental role.

If we sacrifice pieces for this short Durant window the rebuild was a failure.

Don't compound that mistake by making it worse.

We have great talent under 23 years of age, let them develop, BUILD around them, not a 37 year old declining player.

Rockets net rating this season is +7.6. Rockets net rating last season was +5.4. Saying the team is "appreciably worse" this year is inarguably false. The team is unequivocally better this season. Of course the injury luck has been bad, and because of that I have zero interest in trading assets for the KD window once FVV go hurt and our season ended (in terms of title contention).

Yawn, all that matters is wins and losses.

And we have lost to every shitty team in the league, all you have to do is pressure Durant and we cave in.

We are not a contender and NEVER will be with KD leading the team he isn't good enough on both ends.

And the net rating is 6.4....not 7.6

It's 2026 man, you can look for net rating at cleaningtheglass: https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/league/summary

Of course we're not a contender, nothing was going to make us a contender. It's EXTREMELY hard to build a contender without a superstar. You need 5 very good starters (we kinda had that with fvv/amen/jabari/kd/alpi but meh), awesome health, and an excellent bunch.

Stone and coach are NOT in alignment. Coach is NOT about development in anyway. He is ONLY about the here and now. Sell the assets and win trophies now. Coach doesn’t the fire power to win now and will not stop to build for tomorrow (Reed last year & playing without lead guard this season). Stone seems to take smaller strides (the G league MVP or the 2 time NCAA champion point guard in Newton). Coach doesn’t give a care —> play the 38 year old superstar 40 minutes a game with heavy iso. No system just play better defense. Coach will blow up his veteran players FVV last year and KD this year to win in the regular season then wonder what happened in the playoffs.

Stone has not won a title yet, is generally more hesitant, Udoka has come closer but with a stacked team and in the East, had a bad secks scandal with an employee...

    Whom to believe more?

Stone is a fraud. 4 straight years with a top 4 draft pick, no superstar to show for it.

Ime gets a ton of **** on here but Stone is the one that assembled a roster that can’t shoot. The one who gave Jabari $122M, and Capela/DFS $73M combined.

It’s remarkable how strong his reputation is within the fanbase/media, despite never winning anything.

    The tread is about Stone.

I believe Stones biggest weakness is his relationship with his coaches. He was able to over manipulate Silas to the point of embarrassment. With Uboka, Stone has given up to much control to the point where Stone can’t make the team better short term or long term because coach is so stubborn. Coach will ONLY play who he wants to play.
Stone in my opinion needs to take control of the team and think long term vs short term.

This is a full circle thing, Stone had his hands on approach with Silas and he basically meddled with coaching there.

Now it was his turn to have his work disrupted by Udoka.

I do not think both Udoka and him are great at multi tasking.

Which superstar would you have picked in the past 4 years with the draft positions we had?

One in particular trumps everything else: Drafting Jalen and forcing us to put up with his dumb bitter fanbois for 5 years and god knows for how much longer.

Remember him eating chicken strips on the plane pre draft. Some knew it was not a good idea at that time. :)

Well if FVV and Smith aren’t going anywhere, it is limited to Eason, DFS, Capela. Maybe add Holiday or Green to add an additional 2.3 million. I still think Holiday has some value as a shooter. Okogie neds to be kept.

DFS has negative value. Maybe not terrible because his contract is cheap and only runs the next 1.5 years. Despite his injury issues I still think Tori holds a lot of value, considering the team acquiring him will be able to match any offer He receives. And I’m sure it’s better to keep Adam’s over Capela. Although I wonder if you could trade both and just get a different large person that brings 70% of what they do and it their free throws. We need Okogie for reliable defensive depth.

So Tari, DFS, Green and Capela. if you do add a pic or whatever to sweeten the deal who can we get in the 30 million range?
