Gotta survive the ground on a catch, it's not the same as if you are running it where you are down by contact immediately.

Yeah, there's no possible way a Houston NFL Team could lose to a backup QB in the playoffs.

He did survive the ground, but he didn't survive the defensive player ripping it out of his grasp AFTER he was down on the ground.

I have no idea what the rules say, but my opinion would be that should not be an interception.

Let’s get Kenneth Walker to pair with Marks next season.

Right after he hit the ground, he lost control of the ball, if the defender didn't hold on, it would have been called incomplete.

    That's just how it's called.

The Oilers did, but the Texans' defense would not have.

Snow game! Why not? It will be the best chance at the SB a Houston team has ever had. Actually, the temp will not be that bad. Running game takes front stage.

I hate to say it, but this sure reads like a script for another major Houston sports disappointment moment

Just heard about Bo Nix. Insane. I was gutted when Bills lost because I know Texans had a legit shot at hosting an AFC Championship but this just exponentially increased Texans SB chances. Hate to see players get hurt, but it definitely benefits Texans after they beat New England no question.

Yeah I know, it's counter intuitive based on how they call it when someone is a runner. If he was counted as a runner, he'd be down by contact, but when he's counted as a receiver catching the ball, he has to survive the ground meaning he has to continue holding on to the ball after he hits the ground. Since he didn't, it counts as an interception.

I don't like the rule either really, it's just how they call it.

Tired of hearing this! This is a different Texans team and I can’t see how anyone cannot see that!

Agree. No way Frank Reich pulls that off against this defense.

Positive vibes only. If someone unfortunately gets hurt I’m glad my team will benefit. There is no doubt this benefits winner of Texans/Patriots.

I've watched the play where Bo Nix got injured at least 30 times now at different speeds and I still can't see anything that looks like it should have caused the injury.

    Just super shitty luck.

Which script? The one where they blow a golden opportunity against the Pats tomorrow or the one where they beat the Pats only to lose to Jarrett Stidham in Denver? :D
