I agree with everything from linebackers back to cb's.
But the combination of hunter and Anderson make everyone's job a bit easier.
I'm not discounting all the amazing play by the non-line players, but if you don't put that pressure on the QB's they will find open guys no matter how good the back end of the D is.

It starts up front. And Hunter and Anderson do not grow on trees.

That’s a term one uses about a defense AFTER they win the SB.

 

They remind me of the 2015 Broncos. Peyton Manning was so bad that year, 9 TDs 17 INT. Guess what it didn't matter, because the most points the Denver D gave up in the Playoffs was 18 to NE and Tom Brady. The offense did just enough to win. Really, that's all CJ needs to do.

 

This defense can absolutely carry us to a championship. Without a doubt

 

That Peyton was one of the worst qbs to ever win a title. Dude couldnt throw a pass over 20 yds.

 

I'm guessing/hoping that this is initial year of getting interview(s), and next year he'll be a serious candidate somewhere

Which is why Ryans/Caserio should be looking at DT/CB/LB/S in the 1st 4 rds. I would rather an OG/RB/TE with 2-3 of those picks.

I’m not sure we’ll be in the market for CB or S early. I think Texans really like Jaylen Reed and Jaylin Smith. They’ll just need to be healthy.
