I think it was just one of those games, in which things happen. I was more impressed with how he finish
Football is the ultimate TEAM GAME! So to me, if the defense won 2 out of 3 games and CJ and the offense won 1 out of 3 games...who cares? The Texans, as designed, are a defensive team with a defensive head coach. The Chiefs are an offensive team, with an offensive head coach. Most teams are patterned after their head coach. Demeco has built an awesome defense but I think him and his coaches are sorely lacking on how to construct an offense. Anytime a Coach says to play conservative and just do not turn the ball over, what they are really saying is let me do what I do best and don't throw a wrench in my plans.
I think it’s been a tough year for Stroud, but saying he has regressed is far from fair. How many QBs 1) loose their star RB for an entire year 2) loose their 2nd best WR for the entire year 3) trade their star LT 4) depend on 4 rookies which were not in the 1st round to make plays 5) have a 1st year OC and 6) had the toughest ranked schedule this season. How many QBs have gone through this and seen their production increase?
Happens quite often. There’s some that still don’t have even a number 2 receiver as their 1. There are circumstances, but the greats can play through it.
Those six factors "happen quite often"? Name the young QB dealing with... four of those, let alone six. It does NOT happen often.
Losing players? Yes it happens a lot. Good teams plays 1st place schedules, yes it happens a lot. If you want to say those very specific factors, then no. But, then again, you might only eat fish at 5:26 every other Tuesday and you believe that’s what caused your gout.
