its not his fault the team gave up on him its not his fault that when the rockets held the blazers to well below their average and couldn't buy a bucket, like always ..it was a "defense issue" The offense was a problem before KD and for some reason we keep having the same issues I wonder why
Don't need to, they were a 39% shooting team in the first 20 games I guess. But always in the least 3 points amount taken. It is natural that it goes down as season progressed and the volume is being upped.
Watching this team play makes me want to throw up. It's inexplicable that Stone isn't making any major changes. This team is going nowhere. It's the same thing over and over and over again.
Yes, Ime is a big part of the problem. This is exposing Ime for his lack of basketball acumen, he just leans into stupidity and we collapse 4th quarter after 4th quarter against ball pressure. DD
IME the mental midget passed the disease to the players too... Yea we need a PG and Tari can't stay healthy. But we have enough to win majority of the games.
they've literally changed everything else except 1 common denominator Stone for giving him this dumbass extension needs to go too
is the national media catching on to Ime Fraudoka?! Co-host: “Reed Sheppard, even when he’s not shooting well, defenses sell out to stop him on the perimeter and gives the rest of the offense room to breathe but every time it looks like Reed is turning a corner and real momentum, you’ll look up and see he played 16 minutes so I don’t know what tests he has to pass to become a dependable member of Ime’s rotation.” KOC: “Offensive system looks clunky. Defense looks like it’s not playing with the intensity it was earlier in the season. … I’m not quite sure the direction to go if I’m the Rockets. I’m also not quite sure Ime is the right coach. I’m not sensing accountability with his press conferences. It’s a lot of pointing at the players.” Co-host: “Ime is one of the only coaches willing to rip into his players after losses but the takes are rarely reflecting on his own shortcomings.”
It's interesting to see the narrative starting to shift. It will be even more interesting to see how Jalen Green performs now that he's just days away from returning for the Suns. If Jalen blows up and Ime is still starting Holiday over Reed, you'll need to reevaluate everything.
If Jalen blows up then the Durant trade may even be viewed as worse than the Westbrook trade. Let's hope that's not the case.
It is going to be the hardest month for Udoka with all the below average chemistry issues and the horrid shooting after players been to New Year's parties too much. The Rockets most definitely thought they were better than they actually were and played way worse than they actually are.
No use crying over spilled milk. Moving forward, I have a question about whether Ime is any good at player development, and I'd like more information towards determining an answer. Moving on from Silas and adding Fred, Dillon, and Steven was bound to juice our win total regardless. But can we really say that Ime has gotten the best out of Jalen, Bari, Tari, Cam, Amen, or Reed? In my mind they've all stalled though some more than others.
I'm trying to be fair and thinking Silas had as much of a hand, but it's looking like Ime's no better, or at least our infrastructure somewhere isn't working because we've had a LOT of high picks look way below their draft projections at this point.
