Th game CJ had was particularly frustrating because he otherwise played well in the second half. Forcing dangerous plays is so unnecessary with our defense, just eat the damn ball and run another play. All 3 TO's were so f**king avoidable.

The Steelers are the model of mediocrity so our defense carried us to victory, but if CJ doesn't play smarter we won't go much farther.

I'll take "Things people were calling for until the 4Q of this game", for 1000, Alex

Well it is only up for CJ, don't think he could have a worse game. The Houston defense is in the all-time great conversation, seriously. Remember the 78 Steel Curtain, the 85 Bears? Well, we may be witnessing something just as special. They won the game, outright, virtually by themselves.

Pats fans are super confident, saying that the Chargers have a good defense so this should be no different....

But really the Texans aren't even really fooling anyone. They rush 4 guys and simply outplay you. Like there is not much scheming around your guys just getting beat.

Oh, that is funny! The "little bro" moment. Might play against you know who and the Bears in the you know what.

He had some strange kickoffs too. Super short to the 12 yd line. I hope he is OK. I think the wind may have knocked his kickoffs down.

The wind was definitely a factor. Townsend was terrible too.

CJ had one of those most bizarre performances I’ve ever seen in any game, much less the playoffs.

The turnovers were so bad, really no words to describe how low IQ plays they were. He also had a few awful misses. He also made some really fantastic throws. He was fantastic on 3rd down. So ****ing weird.

But he’s gotta understand when to take a loss and chill out.

My favorite was when we were collectively watching the ravens Steelers game that decided which of their punk asses was gonna get handed to them by the Texans.. Folks were scared cause they kept scoring at will. Cause they weren’t playing the Texans.

Completely agree although with this defense I do feel pretty damn solid against almost anyone. It’s like having a good run game, over the course the game they just wear teams down and beat the **** outta them.

I’m happy he was able to hold off the measles long enough to make his last pass in his career a touchdown for the Houston Texans. I’m sure he’ll podcast about it later.

You know why it won't happen?
It's a dumb idea. It would turn a great victory into a controversy.

It's a dumb idea on the merits even if it wouldn't cause massive dusruption in the locker room.
Stroud made a lot of losing plays, but he wasn't completely horrible, either. Stroud had an 85 QB rating and converted on third down consistently. This also happened. Stroud made one of the best, most important throws of the playoffs, too. His 46 yard pass to Kirk on 3-15 in the third was a huge play when the game was still tight. This led to the FG that put the game more firmly in control before the defense obliterated the Steelers at the end. Mills just can't make that throw. Not many QBs can. Making *that* play after Stroud's many stupid, bone headed plays that kept a playoff game tight is actually impressive. Stroud showed resilence. That's no small thing.

My last question for you is- in the aftermath of the first ever Houston Texans road playoff victory, your priorities seem out of wack. Like, why are you wishing for Mills to replace Stroud instead of hoping the starting QB (who has won three f-ing playoff games to start his career) will play better? Like, truth serum, you really think Davis Mills, of all people, is a better QB? Crazy, man.
