Would love to trade FVV/DFS/FRP for Lamelo Ball. The salaries match and its a low risk move.
Honestly, we dont know what FVV is going to look like coming back from an ACC injury and DFS is not fitting well on our due to lack of shot creation from our playmakers.

I still cringe at Jabari...inconsistent shooter and loves shooting a fadeaway when he gets a smaller guy on him! Can't wait to move that contract!!!

We can get CP3 for cheap...If we're benching Reed during the closing minutes of the 4th, I would trust CP3 over Aaron Holiday to close out games...at least CP3 can run an effective pick-n-roll

 

We have a pure shooter in Reed, but he is relegated to being a caddy for KD. Most of his duties on offense are to take the ball past the halfcourt and then look to hand it over to KD while he goes to the corner, as everybody else stands around. Reed is either just following Ime's orders or he is just mentally too weak to assert himself.

 

Ime lost to an inferior team last season too. Ime couldn’t even make the play in with a young rockets team and barely increased their record by .05 from the stretch in 2023 where they weren’t tanking.

 

We need a coach that will PLAY pure shooters over ONLY-Defenders.

Exactly. That pure shooter will be similar to what Reed's duties are to hand over the ball to KD and get out of the way. When Alpi is back, the KD to Alpi offense will be run again. So, what that pure shooter would do mostly is to be on standby and be an outlet pass when either Alpi or KD are in duress. Without a system that relies on ball movement and less iso, the shooter will just be wasted like Reed is now. At least Alpi is a more willing and better passer than KD.

 

Cam Spencer had another nice game today. 12 pts 13 assists. He's got a 3.5/1 asst/to ratio this year and 47% from 3. Haven't watched him much but his defensive metrics don't look horrible. Can't see the Grizz letting him go cheap on that contract he has.

but we don't get them shots or offensive sets and we play Holiday over them all game to punish them from a mistake last game and then take their minutes away when they are reasonably like wtf

 

Problem is we suck at scoring and even without him we might even have trouble going over 80pts since we playing like 80s basketball
