Yeah, I'm not salivating on Banchero right now. If he can't fix his shot then this is all he'll ever be, a volume scorer who puts up nice numbers but isn't really helping his team win games.

Bari is a role player right now at the best of times but he at least gives his all on defense and is a good defender and again, OUTSIDE OF THESE TWO NIGHTS, has been an above average three point shooter. Paolo bad defender, can't shoot from distance, isn't really a big...not a good combo.

I think the NBA has moved WAY past number guys, most teams are smart enough now to know when a guy is putting up empty numbers, and that's Paolo right now. This is why you're seeing Trae Young get moved, number guy, isn't really effecting winning, get him out of here.

 

I called this in the Offseason. KD is a coach killer. With him comes expectations that we were never gonna meet. Just like the Suns and then coaches start losing their jobs.

It's actually a fair question on if this young team is ready for these expectations. Normally, the goal this year would have just been get to the 2nd round. That's all.

Last year the goal was playoffs, they did that, the next step is usually then some playoff success, then go from there. We are instantly now supposed to contend. KD knows what it takes to win a championship, I think he'll chill out this year about it because Alpi isn't there, FVV won't be here, we'll see if the team makes a move for a temporary PG or a bigger move for a younger one...

But man if you see Bari's face when KD slams that water bottle lol, it was a thousand yard stare, like damn I disappointed my mentor and idol.

It's a legit point, someone mentioned it earlier this year that they didn't like the trade because of the expectations.

Like if we we had this same record with Jalen and Dillon I don't think people are as upset about it.

Yup. All true. Fun fact, Steph curry also had a night where he was 0-10 from three pointers. So I guess it can happen to even the best of them. Hopefully Bari will snap out of it next game.

 

But the coach has to pull a guy that is struggling that badly, to protect the player and the team.

Bari and Reed are 22 and 21 they are the youngest guys on this team along with Amen - and KD.....for all his skills is not a leader - he needs a PG, or a creator to create for him.....this Rox team lacks a guy that can create with the ball in his hands......don't care what position that is....and it is magnified with Sengun out as he is that for this team......

he wasn’t even all bad. The 3 pt was bad but i thought he was good on his mid range (6-11 2 pt) and defensively. Maybe he should have tried getting to the paint more.

 

Let's hope he just had a really bad road trip and leaves it in Portland.

After this Kings game, we have a 5 game home stretch, hopefully we can get a win in Sactown then our guys can actually get an actual home stand. Not sure why the NBA has had us on the road for almost this whole first half of the season, but maybe it means we can have a better 2nd half of the season.

Our home record is 11-2...and yes, we've only played 13 home games this season lol...

 

Yup. Definitely a as good midrange and played hard defense. The announcers kept complimenting him all game for how much better he was playing….. up until the 4th quarter lol.

So yea, disastrous 4th quarter but I think the Rockets, and Bari, will be ok. Once again, Steph…. Curry… the greatest shooter of all time had a 0-10 three pointers game. **** happens. Before the last two games Jabari was over 38% threes for the season. I think we need to see how the year plays out before losing our mind over two games lol
