The mid range jumpshot is going to become very steady. As far as the three-point shot, I think it will come along, but it might be a few years. Obviously it would help but I don’t think it matters a ton. Honestly, he seems to be able to generate a pretty good look anytime he wants. I would be focusing on finishing around the rim just as much as I am polishing the three-point shot off.

A few years? My man will be 25-26 when his outside shot "comes along"?

That would actually be a pretty good scenario for Amen. He does that, he's a superstar throughout his prime years. I am in the camp that thinks he is going to be a shooter, the timeline is really just the question here. It's not unusual at all for guys to improve their jump shots later on in their careers.

If he becomes a real 3P shooter before age 27 or so, he's going to be a monster at his peak.

The franchise debate has been settled. Send all your apologies and likes to @AroundTheWorld

There is no “core 7”, “core 5”.

Alperen Sengun is our best (young) player, our all-star, our all-NBA caliber player, our Franchise Player™, our Rockets Legend™

“Kevin (Durant) and I are the cornerstones of the Rockets. The rest of the guys are role players or pieces that complete our team. We’ve lost some pieces and added some pieces. I think we’ll be fine next season.” [IMG]

Sengun & KD the next 2.5 years

I am pretty sure there are quite a few stars or superstars that have developed it around that age or maybe even older. The BBS has become very strange about age.

25 or 26 is still pretty damn young. if he is shooting 35% at age 26. It is likely he is a top five player in the league.

if Amen is our franchise player, we’re cooked

if he scores 25 points, that’s considered an offensive explosion

and him becoming a competent 3 point shooter would take a miracle

two way players can be franchise players. look at Kawhi.

Amen is simply a winner. Leads the team in minutes and net rating.

Currently 2nd to Alpi in assists but with a better assist to turnover ratio.

don’t compare Amen to Kawhi…Amen would have to make an enormous leap to become a scorer on Kawhi’s level

Kawhi with Amen’s shooting and scoring ability is no franchise player

When did Kawhi became THE scorer and shooter? in his 6th year

if you're all about points no matter if the player is a winner or a loser then you must badly miss Jalen

Ok? And unless Amen is about to make some Kawhi level leap on offense, everything you’re saying is moot

yeah, that means I definitely miss Jalen…

    you’re just yapping now

The most disgusting part of this season is Amen isn't even allowed to defend like an attack dog anymore.

    Absolutely putrid coaching.
