Not only the executive, the federal government should have less power. I want a federal government so small that you could fund it with a bake sale.

Trump had a concept of a plan:
    • Invaded Venezuela.
    • Kidnap Maduro.
    • OIL!
    • JD, pass me that last donut.

Private Equity firms are already lining up phone calls with Mad King Don. Time to un-nationalize Venezuelan Oil and sell it for parts. And leave, when there is nothing left to sell. Claim victory. Always, claim victory.

The fallout to this will b astounding, long term. Magatards just celebrating whatever rando sht trump decides to do that never gets finished.

    Wall? never finished
Health care plan. Concept of a plan
    Ball room? Still under construction.
    Epstein file? Redacted
    Trump tax return? Coming soon
The party of law and order are justifying every illegal sht they are doing with gaslighting and made up excuses.

Who the fk cares if Venezuelans celebrate an invasion? Might as well go attack north Korea and China if we are using "celebrations" as justification for this nonsense.

    Dude,
I like your shtick as a general rule but when you make it about debasing someone because you do not line up with their ideology is juvenile and immature.

I fell you might be jealous and this is your way of trying to belittle her and it's not cool and quite tiresome.

She has done more for this country than you ever have.
    Don't be a tool bro.

She in no way needs me to fight her fight but civility should be a requirement on this board and personal attacks about anything other than IQ and stupidity should be off the table.

She and I do not line up in many ways politically but I respect her. You not so much.

    You are so wrong...

Private equity firms aren't "lining up calls".. big oil is already in his administration.

You should look up who the spouse is for Trump's ambassador to Costa Rica....

I assume CITGO was the player in Venezuela before sanctions.

Correction: CITGO is the player in Venezuela.

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is the indirect subsidiary of U.S.-based PDV Holding, a holding company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Texas. PDV Holding is the indirect sole stockholder of CITGO Petroleum Corporation, through ownership of 100% of the shares of its direct subsidiary CITGO Holding, Inc. CITGO Holding, Inc. is the sole stockholder of CITGO Petroleum Corp.

Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), the Venezuelan state oil company, owns 100% of the stock of PDV Holding. Given the current political situation in Venezuela, the PDV Holding board was elected by the ad hoc Board of Directors of PDVSA, which was appointed by, and now accountable to, Venezuela’s interim government and the 2015 National Assembly, which are recognized by the United States. CITGO, CITGO Holding, and its parent entity PDV Holding work closely with the U.S. government and other governmental authorities to ensure all legal standards are met.

The Boards of Directors of the three companies work to ensure operational stability, strengthen corporate governance and safeguard the assets of the CITGO business.

What’s wild is that this is basically what happened. We arrested Maduro, probably with mutually agreed upon terms, and the whole Venezuelan government remains intact and we (investors) get to buy up the state oil sector at a discount because they apparently were financially wrecked.

Why am I lying trash? It's true that many people choose to live in Mexico when they retire, regardless of the crime and cartels. There are lots of ex Pats in Mexico and Central America living the beach life, surfing, and jungle life out of choice. Many do it because they can retire cheaper, and get cheaper dental care and prescription drugs.

So, even though your story is different that doesn't make me lying trash. I'd never retire in Mexico, Central America, or South America, because I have no family there, and family means the world to me, so I commend you for putting family first, regardless of where that leads you. You wife's parents are lucky to have a daughter and son in law to care for them. Good on you.
