It's honestly not that bad, if you go to Reddit you will truly find a hive mind of conservative hate that is actually quite sickening. I think the conservatives here dislike leftism and liberal ideology but it never goes beyond criticism as to where the majority of leftists go beyond hate.... I don't ignore anyone, I don't think I ever will...
i would welcome posters that post their own thoughts. ive been here almost 25 years and this is my first time to utilize the ignore function. the only ones i put on ignore are the posters who have nothing to offer other than being trolls or people who dont want to argue in good faith. or people spamming the D&D with 75 new threads in a matter of days. that new guy who keeps starting thread after thread and really offers no substance. i would welcome some honest debate on actual issues, but its become a rarity in this forum. its mostly just toxic and insulting now (welcome to the trump era!). there were some excellent posters in here who have left in the last year or so and their absence is very noticeable. really makes it obvious how just a few posters can elevate or degrade this forum (rocketsjudoka vs tinman). i would actually welcome people who post their own thoughts. tinman and his boy-toy salvy are totally useless. i wouldnt even call them right-wing or conservative. theyre just these weird grown men acting like teenage edgelords...flooding the D&D with the same weird drivel over and over and over and over again. its just boring, weird and pointless. i remember pre-covid that tinman said the D&D should not exist. he never posted in here. but something happened to him mentally/emotionally in the covid-era and now he one of if not the most active poster in here...and its all the same stupid s*** over and over and over again. nothing of substance. admittedly, me responding to them only creates a snowball effect. i was trying to troll the trolls, but the result was that i was contributing to making the D&D s***tier. i wasnt offering anything of substance when i engage with trolls. another reason why i am utilizing ignore. until recently bigtexxx/traderjorge/mojoman/strosb4bros/conquistadork would actually post what seemed to be his own thoughts and perspectives...now his posts just come off as something that chatgpt wrote if you were to ask it to be as trumpy as possible. makes me kinda miss bigtexxx. LOL. this forum used to be very useful to me in terms of a news source. it was kinda like my version of drudge report. i could come on here in the morning and get lots of various news stories and information. that seems to have gone away in the covid era and im not sure how we can get back to that. i guess times have changed and everything has gone the way of tweets and other news sources. its unfortunate.
True, it's quite sad. Thing is with woke leftists is that they have a broken moral compass. They are willing to forgive crime if the person is of any color/origin other than white but willing to condem an entire group of people to eternal damnation for perceived wrongdoing. They pick "science" over religion but only when the religion is Christianity and when science is the most convenient backup to their argument. When science does not align with their truths they create some bs on par with any religion to shift narrative. Leftist woke liberals lack purpose and morality and in search for it end up defending highly immoral people and supporting highly immoral causes only to get revenge on those that do believe in something and stand up for it. Being woke has always been about breaking every norm to date and injecting their own version that is completely flawed, skewed and backwards. All for the sake of going to bed at night feeling like they accomplished something despite that something having no positive impact on society but making everything miserable....
It's good to spend time with family and friends and get away from politics especially the dimwitted toxic far right trolls here.
