So Chargers and Bills are both sitting everyone?

I think both teams are resigned to the fact that both the Texans and Jags are winning this weekend, which would mean that the 5 seed is a wrap. In that case, they both know they aren't getting the AFCN winner, and the Pats are far more of an attractive opponent than the Jags at this juncture. Might as well rest up, hope the other guy accidentally wins, and you get the chance to take on New England instead of Jacksonville.

I guess, but a Miami upset of New England is definitely on the board

So, looks like if it all plays out right, we will face the winner of the Ravens Pittsburgh game.........I prefer Pittsburgh, I have PTSD with Baltimore no matter wo is the QB, King Henry is a beast

I'm not sure the Chargers or Bills feel that way. Or, at least, should feel that way...

For LA, I'm guessing they'd much rather play in 75-80 degree weather than whatever miserably cold slop New England will offer the second weekend in January. And while the Bills likely don't care about NE weather.... the Pats beat them once, and really, should've beaten them twice.

For both, Maye is a better QB than Lawrence - and in the playoffs, you always want to draw the team with the lesser QB (or coach, which also slightly favors Vrabel, I think, as he, unlike Cohen, has playoff coaching experience).

Call me crazy but our first round game may be the most difficult of the post season. Playing in Baltimore is really scary especially with Derrick Henry. Rogers is over the hill, but don’t underestimate how much the NFL would like him to advance.

Taking nothing for granted - especially on the road and with this offense - but the Steelers are not a good team. I will be pulling hard for them Sunday.

Baltimore is scary *if* Lamar is healthy - he is this defense's kryptonite. I'd rather face every other QB in the AFC - including Allen - before a healthy Lamar Jackson.

I agree 100%, I will be rooting for the Steelers this weekend. The Ravens are so Jekel and Hyde and it looks like they have Henry going at full strength. Steelers have a decent D so let's see if they can knock the Ravens out of the playoff picture

I have nightmares imagining Hunter and Anderson coming around the edge, and Lamar just stepping up and taking off for easy 20-30 yard gains in the 2nd half. The DT injuries we've suffered hurt us so badly, and this defense was already susceptible to scrambling QBs even before that. **** Tomlin and the Steelers from the bottom of my heart for losing to that putrid Browns team.

Tua is not starting. Miami has won at Foxboro in 24, 23, 21, and 19. That team is still playing for that coach. Just need a bit of luck to help the inconsistent pass defense a la like their win against Buffalo. Plus Patriots/Maye could drop their guard after playing a near perfect offensive game last week.

We just saw the Falcons beat the Rams. Anything can happen even if it is very much not expected.

Could not have said this better. Lamar is the only player in the AFC I’m afraid of. Yes, more than Mahomes. Lamar could throw for 150 yards but run for 80 that absolutely kill you in 3rd down situations.

Lamar is definitely quality over quantity.

I do not want to meet the Ravens in the playoffs. That would be like a nightmare. We would be getting them just as they are almost back to full strength.

He doesn’t run a lot - but when he does, it’s always impactful.
