That's because PFF doesn't adjust for teams not challenging the best CBs. It's like BA in baseball with no adjustments for walks, extra base hits, base-running, defense, sacrifices or GDP.

He should still win it. Stingley is the best CB in the league, Lassiter may be the 2nd best, but Garrett has been on another planet this year. The voting won’t even be close. Think of those amazing JJ Watt years. I bet you would be pissed if they took away his DPOY and gave it to a lock down corner.
