Rewatching Mad Men for the first time in 10+ years now that it’s on HBO Max. Forgot about Christina Hendricks…
I've said before, she's plenty pretty enough for me, but I really don't get the obsession with her. She's hotter than anybody who would date me, but if I had total choice of all women in the world for my perverted carnal whims for as long as I liked (think something like the Kim Jong Un over the entire world) just based on physical appearance, she'd be way, way, way down the list. Like far enough down that I probably wouldn't be able to make it to her before my heart and all the viagra in the world gave out and chaffing became an unsolvable issue. For a while, specifically based on all the culture war stuff like the "jeans" ad, I genuinely believed the hype must be some culture war thing. I don't really think that anymore, but I still don't understand the obsession. It literally doesn't click for me at all. Everything looks more impressive when you are tiny (listed 5'2", I assume that's an NBA measurement and she's probably actually more like 5'0" or less). You guys do you, but I really don't get the way you guys put her on a pedestal above all the other hawt women out there.
That dude (Clavicular) also has videos saying (among many other equally stupid things) that Charlie Kirk wouldn't have been assasinated if he were "Chad" enough, which apparently in this guy's version of the term means taking a bunch of steroids and getting plastic surgery and taking bunch pharmaciticals to make him look masculine-pretty enough, evrn to the point of destroying your health. He's apparently a big proponent of meth and recomends it to all of his followers. Supposedly he is a bit of a right-wing toxic masculinity "bro" darling at the moment. He seems to be a completely repulsive human being with no redeaming qualities at all - sort of the natural progression of growing up idolizing Andrew Tate. Possibly he ran over and killed someone who was harassing him on a live stream on Christmas Eve, and he has no qualms about it at all, making fun of the dead guy on X afterwords. A real piece of work. Google him if you want to lose faith in humanity.
To each their own I guess - I just don't see anything special. She isn't hideous or even ugly. She just has a touch of butterface with a few really nice features. She looks like the girls I and my friends used to hangout with when I was a bartender in graduate school.
I can think of two very nice features. BTW I have never noticed her butterface, with or without makeup. Maybe one day I will. I am just taking my time getting there.
