    4Q comebacks are a thing because sports gambling has always been a thing. In this case, this was a 20 point 4Q difference to an absolute ass team.

    If Ime hadn’t pulled his starters in the blowout, people would be blasting him for that. There is another set of fans that are clamoring for our end of bench players like JD to be played more and b*tch when he sucks in garbage time. I really don’t think sports gambling has much of an impact on how coaches approach blowouts. I think gambling payoffs to coaches, players, and refs may exist, but it is not common place. The NBA is plenty corrupt, but not at that granular of a level.

    For 3 quarters. Lead was as high as 28 before the Pacers pulled their patented 2025 playoffs comeback.

    Nothing makes me more nervous as a Houston sports fan than when the Rockets have a 20+ point lead in the 3rd quarter

    This wasn't about the bench not performing. Their bench was playing too. It was a straight rig and it's disgusting.

    The Pacers took 21 shots in the 4Q the Rockets took 15. The Rockets had 9 turnovers in the 4Q alone. It's obvious.

    So who specifically was being paid? How would they know we would be in a position to send in our bench crew and who that bench crew would be? Was Ime in on it? The NBA definitely has a hand in outcomes, especially in the playoffs, but I don’t think player corruption goes so deep that guys like JD, Holiday, Jeff Green could be in on something late in a game when you have no idea if they are going to play or not.
