Few of the reasons I get worried when people look for quick weight loss solutions. 1. loose skin. it takes time for skin to rebound back if it's been stretched for a long time. it's like a rubber band. 2. people forget to lift weights AS THEY ARE LOSING WEIGHT. they often say "gonna lose the weight first, then lift". issue here is, you end up losing muscle. so ya you lost weight but not fat, and worse, you lost muscle.
To put a bow on my wife's two-year journey. She lost 60 pounds. but by virtue of losing the weight, she turned into a gym rat. Works out 4 times a week now, with one of the days being for swimming only. she rotates between jogging, machine resistance lifting, cardio on the elliptical and a beginners yoga class. She gained 15 lbs back but it is muscle, not fat. She no longer takes any meds for weight control.
