The Clippers are 100% gonna make the playoffs if Kawhi stays healthy, and they are gonna be an absolute nightmare first round opponent for some top seed. The play in game has really, really made it hard to truly be eliminated no matter how bad your start.
Come on, man, do you really believe Kawhi is playing the rest of those 51 Games and then getting bounced in the 8th seed and 9th seed place games...... He is never going to be healthy for even 60 games again......he is lucky to be healthy for 30 plus games. You'd make a good fortune betting on his health though.
Harden is basically a 23 ppg and 12 apg guy at this point, he has some 40 pt games but not as many as in his prime. To turn this around with all their injuries, they probably would have needed Norman Powell as a third wheel.
I dunno, their rotation is incredibly thin. They rely on Harden and Kawhi for everything. Everybody else is just standing around. Last night, they needed minutes from Jordan Miller, Kobe Sanders, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser (yes, that's a real guy).
I said this a few weeks ago when people were locked into OKC getting the top pick in the draft. I also agree they could be a very difficult first round opponent if Kawhi, Harden and Zubac are all healthy. By playoff time, we'll be looking back saying, "how was this team ever 6-21"?
