We've been saying this for months. But he keeps playing well.

Problem w/ tanking the last game is you could fall to the 7-seed

No because the Chargers are resting against the Broncos who need to win for the bye week

Why would the Chargers rest? That would be the Chargers assuming that the the Texans would win in week 18.

Harbaugh isn't that kind of coach especially after a loss. He will have them playing with fire to beat a division foe and hoping the Texans falter.

Wanting to go play in potentially inclement weather over a home game against Jacksonville of all teams is quite an interesting take. Like really bizarre.

Because they would rather the Broncos win the bye week so they can target a matchup with the Patriots in round 1. The Pats are the weakest team in the playoffs imo besides the afc north

I’d rather have a home game over anything, regardless of opponent.

ultimately we will land where we land. I believe we have enough to beat any team in the AFC

The Chargers don't want the 6 seed at all, that would mean they face the Jags who demolished them just recently.

Nothing is easy in the playoffs but our defense can disrupt 99% of the playoff qbs minus a 30 yard scramble here or there.
The only things I fear are the endless blitzes the Broncos and Steelers can dial up, making our o line look like the kid from The Blind Side staring at red balloons.

Oh and a healthy Lamar. That's the 1% our defense hasn't solved.

Yeah rather than thinking about which offense scares our defense the most, we should instead be thinking which defense can totally shut down our offense the most. In that case, the Ravens D is the weakest so I'd rather face them.

Check this scenario out: Eagles beat Bills, Chargers beat Broncos next week, while Pats beat Dolphins, Jags beat Titans: 1. NE, 2. JAX, 3. Denver, 4. Balt/Pitt, 5. Houston, 6. Chargers, 7. Bills.

So at BAL or PIT. I’d rather play PIT
