I know where you were going w/ that, but I say go Steelers. I prefer Pittsburgh in the 4-seed instead of Baltimore, and that becomes very unstable w/ a Browns win today

The OL has gotten better. A few RBs have come out of nowhere to contribute. The defense has maintained an elite level of play. The special teams has played well throughout.

Arguably the only player on the team who hasn't played consistently well or improving throughout the year is CJ. He's had some derp moments but is playing better the second half of the year than the first half.

As for "barely won". The Chargers are a playoff team. We were on the road missing our starting (and consistently good!) LT.

    The Raiders? Check this.

    @Patriots W 20-13
    vs Bears L 25-24
    vs Jaguars L 30-29 OT
    @ Denver L 10-7
    vs Denver L 24-17

Are all these teams imposters "barely winning" too?

Yep, but my deciding factor there was having the final game of the season b/t those 2 being a "very serious game" and in Pittsburgh and neither team will be resting anybody. Steelers win but the Ravens beat the hell out of them physically.

Barely winning was stated because of the "getting better" you mentioned. No, the Texans are not getting better by barely winning games. The wins are great and the yesterday's win was a good one - but basic eye test says, the Texans are simply holding serve. Caley, hot routes.

A screen, a check down option in the slot? Oh hell no, let’s send cj back to hold the ball, praying somehow he can hit well covered receivers 20+ yards downfield. BRILLIANT

I want to win the division, I want to set the franchise record for victories. If you don’t want that you are a loser, a soft ass loser.

If the Colts do beat the Jags, what else has to happen today to keep them from being eliminated from the playoffs?

If we don't win the division, i'll take a 5th seed so we can face the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

That means that we should root for the Colts and Eagles today. Colts win, we are in play for a home game against likely Jacksonville.

If the Texans win next week (Week 18) and the Jaguars lose today, Houston will lead the AFC South heading into the final game.
Here are the specific possibilities for that scenario:
Take Control of the Division: A Jaguars loss today puts both teams at 11–5. Because the Texans hold the tiebreaker (having won the most recent head-to-head), they would move into 1st place in the division.
Win the AFC South: If this happens, a Texans victory over the Colts in Week 18 clinches the division title and guarantees at least one home playoff game at NRG Stadium.
Seeding Jump: Houston would likely jump from the No. 6 or No. 7 seed all the way to the No. 3 seed.
Potential Matchup: As the No. 3 seed, they would host the No. 6 seed in the first round—which, depending on other results, could very well be the Buffalo Bills.

    Colts came to play early.

Taylor has destroyed the Jags in Indy "546 yards and four touchdowns (averaging 6.4 yards per carry) in three home games against Jacksonville", something to hope continues.

eta: well, their offense came to play early
