I would imagine he will start going forward. Now it is up to him to stay on the floor. Does he start in back to backs or do we still have to load balance him?

Have to admire Tari's passion. You could tell he was upset during media day and throughout the preseason with how the contract negotiations were going. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Now he probably feels he has to make up for lost time after the oblique injury. Earning and keeping that starting job is a great way to do that.

He carries that same passion on the defensive end of the floor with a non-stop motor and provides several qualities this lineup was missing.

I hope he stays healthy and he's a Rocket for a long time.

Tonight looked good for the starting lineup. Gotta keep giving them a few more games without changes but they looked good and cohesive out there. And Jabari passed the ball more and didn’t force shots perhaps because he had Tari out there instead of Okogie.

Either way, happy with this starting lineup especially if it’s going to get us a more motivated Tari. As long as he’s healthy anyway. But yea a motivated Tari could be a difference maker.

Ime is funny, he starts Eason right after Eason lets a guy shoot a wide open 3 to cost us the game in Sacremento.

Yet, Reed, who should be starting because we need a PG, is just stuck on the bench.....

Happy for Tari, but Ime is just meh.

    Of course he does.

I’d be more worried if he was a p***y who didn’t care.

The Rockets are 14-1 in the last 15 games Tari has started dating back to last year. And that one loss almost doesn't count since it was at the Clippers late last season when the Rockets had already clinched the 2nd seed and were resting a bunch of guys.

Starters played good tonight. And Reed also had a fine game off the bench. So far so good

Tari is more important than Bari. His impact is greater.

Agreed. When healthy his impact is greater. But it’s a great thing we have both of them lol.

No, happy about that, but the Lakers suck on defense, no pressure on our ball handlers at all, which is how teams have been beating us....

Lakers do suck on defense. No argument there. Let’s see how the next few games go. But I’m optimistic after tonight especially seeing how excited Tari is about starting and the impact he had today despite being inefficient with his shot.

The Rockets' next 9 games are a joke. They should be favored in every single one of them except for maybe at Dallas a week from Saturday. And even that's up in the air with AD leaving today's game with a groin injury.

If they stop screwing around against inferior opponents and go back to taking care of business like they did in November, they could right the ship quickly.

I can't see them running that lineup out there on a regular basis ...

    Sengun
    Jabari
    Durant
    Tari
    Amen

I guess it's Ime's dream lineup of all Forwards ....

Reminds me of how Morey used to draft .... all forwards.

Hope he does, Okogie’s done as a starter and Reed is comfortable off the bench.

Barkley was right at halftime when he said the Rockets are pretenders and not contenders unless we get a point guard. Only reason we won was because Lakers don’t have a point guard either.

I want to watch you Tari and not be worried you're about to be injured for another long stint.
