Last year when there was talk about trading for Fox. I'm not saying trading for Fox was the thing to do, but saying he was no better than Fred was just ignorant.
Spurs just might be the Thunders kryptonite. 3-0 and responsible for almost all their losses is hard to argue against.
As should be very obvious by how this season has gone so far, it is too early to make that conclusion. For one thing, it's clear having 4 legit backcourt players gives them depth other teams can only envy and Victor allows them to play small because he covers so much ground on defense. I didn't watch much of the two recent Spurs wins over OKC, but seeing today how Victor's presence on the court junks OKC's offense blows my mind. They started 11/15 (73%) from the field and then went 12/33 (36%) the rest of the half after Victor first came in.
Dylan Harper?? Dude is 6'5 215lbs Reed is 6'2 185lbs You can see Harper has a bigger frame... just look!
The Season has just begun, it just coincided both Thunder shooting woes with 27% over a month with Spurs hot shooting and them playing well. I am sure the league would figure out a way to just make the Spurs look mortal again. They still have to be healthy over 60+ games and 5 months......and show it.
It is still a huge accomplishment, they were a mere 34 Win team last year, and probably going to win 57 ish wins this year barring injuries. The Rox jumped from 24 to 41 to 52.....
Spurs have already passed up the rockets with their “rebuild” but it is helped by getting victor. Still they got a brand new coach, fox, castle and Harper and still have the atl picks from the Murray trade
