KD is not the answer !

Center? He is playing pg

 

What was the question? KD has value and brings the spot light with him. He get noticed nationally and that means so do the Rockets.

 

It’s a bad trade so how are:
a. All the young core playing significantly better than last season (even amen whose averaging 2 ppg more on slightly worse efficiency because of his role change)
b. Reed sheppard breakout in what is basically his rookie year
c. The team had a better RECORD without FVV this year than last year where they were barely a .500 team.

 

Question:
WHO TF cares if they are winning in the REGULAR SEASON? What has DB or Booker ever done in the playoffs? One first round virgin and the other CP3 merchant. Their future is going to be them being a first round punching bag for the top 2 teams in the west for years to come.

Maybe Chris Paul will be a Rocket, to run a Mike Dantoni offense for Reed Sheppard and Alperen Sengun.

 

So.....the Media are talking like the Rockets are the 2nd best team but in reality San Antonio became the 2nd best team or beyond.

Nothing gained from it really, merely hype and higher expectations.

 

Who is to blame for the Rockets' shortcomings?

KD is not the answer.

I mean in 6th place in the West, 4 games out of 2nd... what a bunch of bums!

#3 offense and a top 10 defense - they should be ashamed!

 

Ime is an idiot on rotation.

He hates long rotation.

We already have too many players with DFS coming back. I doubt stupid Ime wanna CP3 or not.

 

there’s no easy solution with the current roster configuration, but taking the ball out of Sengun’s hands more seems reasonable. He dribbles too much and turns the ball over too much. But he’s still our best young player not named Amen. I think the answer is to go out and get a ball handler or take a mulligan on the year. We aren’t going anywhere without a dependable ball handler.

I was one of the people pounding the table for Bari to play more center and was disappointed we spent money on Clint. But I wouldn’t start him over Sengun. I like your lineup though. We should definitely play that lineup often. Bari at center is an enormous leap from Clint at center. I also like playing Adams at center without Sengun. I’ve become anti double big.

 

1). I want Amen back in the front court cutting and playing down hill all the time. This will improve his impact on both sides of the ball.

2). No more double big. It clogs the paint and makes Amen’s job harder.

3). No more Clint. Bari needs to play all the minutes at the 5 when Adams or Sengun are not out there.

4). Bring Bari off the bench. Would rather have Amen, KD or Tari playing his spot.

5). More Reed. We are not contenders. Unless we make a trade for a point guard I want Reed playing starters minutes. He’s not a great ball handler but he’s the best sudo point guard we have.

6). More Tari. Now that he can shoot Tari needs to play starters minutes at the 3/4. This will help our defense.

7). No more Sengun dribbling at the top of the key. I want him closer to the basket and/or focusing on the mid-range. No more 3-pt shots.

8). If we don’t go out and get a point guard that can help get KD good looks our season is over. No more asking KD to beat guys off the dribble in iso.

 

It is Alperen Sengun starting but in substitution lineup mid quarter run the small ball lineup. (Taller players)

KD was brought in to be the closer / finisher….
Not a got dang facilitator…. VanVleet is out and we have no one to replace him… it’s IME’s job to try and fix that gap…. Which currently he is failing to do so… these last couple of losses are disappointing but I think we will be fine as the season progresses
IME is not a complete idiot- he’ll figure it out

 

What is the news of the hour on his contract....if that is 2 years from now, I would absolutely think about stretching him in his last year.

If there is stagnant progress in the Playoffs or if he has another bigger injury.

 

The offensive stats are fool's gold, and if this is a top 10 D, no one in this league cares about defense.
They are, at best, a top 20 defense.

 

Rafael Stone….hired Silas and has never made the second round of playoffs. He is the problem. Horrible roster construction.

 

This puts Sengun and Thompson in conversation they would never be in. —> More All Star votes.
