Lassiter might even be more deserving than Stingley really. But fan vote is included though. So reputation & prestige will still factor in over performance Its 44 players on each Pro Bowl roster. But they should probably make it 53 same exact as standard NFL rosters. MLB has bigger All Stars roster than the standard roster. I don't think it waters down the honor that much I think anything with a fan vote, should err on the side of a little too much than a little too few. Because fans are always gonna pick some undeservings. And let the Lassiters and Hunters get added in on merit
You could make a case for all 4 guys in the secondary & Hunter. A couple of these guys will be named as "injury/don't wanna play" replacements. I get why the Pro Bowl selections matter to the players, but the All-Pro voting holds a lot more importance to me (I'm assuming they still do 1/2/3rd team?)
Agree. All Pro definitely is most important to me Not sure number of teams top of my head. All Star / Pro Bowl even now is lot of fan service promotion, and a motivational goal for players. But All Pro is recognizing merit. There all All Pro players who aren't even Pro Bowlers. Which proves how fan votes can miss out on legit performers Whole Texans secondary is sensible enough. Unlike MLB with expanded All Star roster so "each team has a rep", I'd like that dream of expanded Pro Bowl roster for whole secondary to hog those extra spots lol
Fun fact. Jadaveon Clowney, who's career I thought would be cut very short because his micro fracture injury back in the day is playing in his 12th NFL season.
Bears are on fluke season Commanders 2024 watch. Easy schedule, some big close wins. They could unexpectedly win games and then fall back down to earth next year.
agree that the turnover differential can change drastically any given year. But what I like about the Bears is they revamped their O line over night. While we wanted no commitment and paid Cam 13 mil for a mercenary year, Bears landed a pro bowler by committing to their free agent for 3 years. Chi RBs: 1,724 yards rushing/ 4.8 yards per carry with 2 games to go. 2024: 1,100 for the two Chi city RBs at 3.8 per carry. That type of production from the ground changes everything. We'd go from the 19th offense to the 4th in yards. Good luck stopping us on 3rd and 1 anywhere on the field including the kryptonite 1 yrd line.
