KD/Sengun pairing is absolutely ass on defense. They dont close out on shooters but take up a bunch of space when they're actually defending someone so folk think they're good defenders. Been saying this since the season began.

Throw in Reed and this team is a broken dam trying to hold back Hurricane Harvey.

 

You'd think the so called defensive genius Ime might actually try to make an adjustment on the defensive end.

Sure does seem that great Celtics squad sure did overrate Ime's talents to the outside world.

 

Maybe we can trade for Kawhi

 

We work too damn hard on offense.

the engine has been sputtering and now given out

Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola , Chuck Hayes could beat this team in a 7 game series (and without Yao)

 

These lottery teams always look like title contenders when they play us. I guess when your defensive philosophy is to give up open threes, many NBA teams are going to look really good against you since, you know, they're professional basketball players who shoot the ball for a living.

 

Did Ime already use the “soft” card recently? That’s his go-to after a loss. “Soft, punk’d us, out physical’d”

Already used “lesser team” card on the Kings

 

I don't think you realize how 1 player can affect the team defense

 

I don’t know what our offense is, looks clunky and constantly blown up when doubled.

Defense is awful as well and then there are the turnovers and bricked 3s.

So much talent and just not putting it all together.

 

Bring back tom thibodeau too!

 

Defense was Fred and Dillon last year

Folks if you watched then last year on the behind the basket cam - they called out EVERYTHING - all switches, all doubles etc. Amen & Tari were the weapons but Fred & Dillon aimed the shots

This group can't do it.

 

The bench has 7 points in 36 minutes. It's just not good enough.

Also for me the honeymoon with Okogie is over.

 

I’m not liking Ime is benching Reed excuse of Tari. Do you think Reed is our problem on defense when he is sitting on a bench and we can’t stop em? If DFs comes back Reed might be getting similar minutes as last year

Yeah I think it is a fact that we got worse on defense and its because we traded Jalen and Brooks.

Jalen might have been wishy washy on offense but he turned into a solid defender.

We did get better offensively for sure but the defense leaves a lot to be desired right now.

 

This entire team has been terrible on defense stop looking for a scapegoat

 

Our offense is hope Durant gets a 1v1 and if he doesnt then Sengun puts on a Giannis impression.

 

the amen hype this summer was hilarious

he's a good player but he's a worse Ben Simmons.and that's not a diss. Ben Simmons was a great player. just severely limited.

 

The literal definition of coaching.

And yet there's people who think this is all fine and should be ignored because Ime is better than Silas. Laughable.
