Why again did Caserio change Diggs' contract last year? He's currently PFF'S 10th highest graded receiver. What a difference he would have been on our offense this season.
Here's the good news. Although we played poorly, we still won the game. Meanwhile, Denver looked like crap against Jacksonville and New England looks bad too right now. I think that we have a reasonably good chance to win the conference. Or, we might play like garbage and be out in the first round.
To answer the first part of your question, nobody really knows. Besides supposedly making him prove it. It was one of the many questionably dumb things Caserio has done. Unfortunately, he's done almost as many good things(even if just by luck), and this has led to him keeping his job. To answer the second part of your question, PFF's rankings mean nothing.
Jaguars vs Colts and Texans vs Chargers should be played at the same time instead of a Saturday game.
That Denver loss really screwed the Texans in multiple ways. Looks like LAC can still win the division so will be playing hard. Even Denver winning on Thursday wouldn’t change that. Denver has really had a negative impact on our season, with a dirty hit on Stroud causing a loss, and then them losing at home to Jax.
Ironically I can see Denver wanting to see the Jags as a higher seed vs us. Jags may still be one and done in the playoffs regardless.
For a consecutive season, there is a chance 16 running backs will finish with 1,000 yards by the end of this Sunday. The way defenses are playing coverage these days, a strong ground attack is a must. 2021 only saw 7 thousand yard backs. It's like watching the Center position make a comeback in the association.
I wish they were flip flopped. We could rest everyone if the Jags win. It still might not be the worst week to let guys get healthy like Azeez, Lassiter, and Marks.
Resting up doesn’t work for me team like this. They need to get their **** in gear or they’ll be a quick one and done. This offense needs reps and a lot of work to have ant shots, and the defensive performance against the Raiders certainly doesn’t merit rest, in my opinion.
