In Trump's eyes wealth and fame trump everything. It's the same way with regards to his blatant racism towards black people. If he knows of you and is impressed by your net worth, you are awarded honorary human being status. If you are poor and he's never heard of you, you are part of the gross great unwashed brown/black masses, who are undoubtedly coming to steal his wealth and fame.
