I’m not talking about the sweaty feeling when you adjust your trunks in the humid ass summer.

    We have no movement.

Katie and everyone need to fix their shorts and prevent this stickiness. Moving around prevents moisture build up too.

to prevent ball stickiness we basically need looser clothing and more movement at the end of games

Phoenix moved away from KD as initiator for a reason, we need to do the same, at this point he is a closer only.

This. And some fundamental basketball, too. It is surprising that no one provides any screens or picks when the ball handler is bringing up the ball and being harassed and double-teamed during crunch time. Even FVV will be hard-pressed without help from the bigs when this happens. The second major issue, I think, is the predictability of the offense during these moments.

Opponents already know that the ball handler will always force the ball to KD on top of the key, so that the defense can already prepare their schemes as soon as the play happens. It is, of course, the most sensible course to have KD take the shots, but he should be the finisher instead of the initiator since defenses already know how to defend him when Ime constantly runs the same plays for KD on top of the key. How about making KD maneuver to get to his favorite spot first before receiving the pass and shooting? I agree that moving the ball to free up KD is the best option to counter the opponent's defensive schemes.

Absolutely 100% agree! KD is one of the best finisher ever and should be the closing the plays as oppose to initiating. He is not terrible at initiating but just so much better as finisher. The problem is the defense also knows this and basically sticks to him like glue; and at the end of the game refs let guys grab and hold so he cant get open by himself. This is where KD needs to run off staggered screens without the ball and use the reggie miller push off. In the playoffs, every minute will be like the last 5 min of these games. They better be ready. They better not just run the KD and Sengun pick and roll 100 times. The defense will be ready for this.
