Very true. I think they all do. Some even admitted they check twitter during halftime to see what people say about them to fuel the 2nd half.

KD is just one of the very few that embraced talking back while others usually don't.

He had some good matches, but if you look at this forum and Twitter, Alperen plays terribly in every match. Don't do this, you'll end up losing the player. Criticize ok, but too much isn't good. Have a good time on the forum.

he's a good player and i don't have a problem with him being an important player on the rockets. he just can't be the guy. a big eric gordon is not what #1 options are made of. i hated EG's antics on the court and i hate senguin's. it's worse when it's coming from a big though.

When Alperen is on, awesome player.

Lately he looks like he ate chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes for a pregame meal. And no nap.

And, yes, he needs to quit b****ing at the refs. Jeeeeezus, every time down the floor.

The current criticism level is nothing like before he established himself as a top young prospect, one of the best of his draft class when a lot discarded him because he was 'unathletic', 'not a lob threat', 'defensive liability' etc. Of course there are some undeserved criticisms still, but every player gets his share of that. Also, the expectations are higher, so are the criticisms.

Yes, this current level of hate is nothing compared to the Jalen years. Glad those player only fans left the GARM, only a few obsessed haters like Wizman left that act like Alpi stole their girl.

They will continue to look stupid but they can't help themselves, they are obsessed.

    Yes exactly.

I for one expect a lot of Alpi and am often frustrated with some of the things he does. The complaining to the refs, the pump fakes from 3 that literally no one ever bites on and that he doesn't trust his own touch at times. Also the matchups against Jokic showed that he can lose his cool at times and play emotional.

If Alpi was just some dude, there would be no criticism.

I don't think Alpi shies from criticism (or flat out cries the way some of his fans do either) if i'm honest, he seems to welcome and thrive on it as motivation from the interviews i've seen and is very self-critical also. He really does need to stop whining like EG though, it's such a bad look, he'd be better just staying competitive and keep battling through. It makes him look like a total primadonna when he's not usually that type of character at all personality wise.

What is frustrating is that guys like Lebron, Ant, and especially Luka do it constantly and get rewarded for it. It’s also well known if you aren’t a star and don’t fall down you will not get the call. The NBA is at fault, not the players.

To Alpi's credit, he has cut down the number of phony pump-fakes a LOT.

lol you said that game was in Alpi? He scored 28 on 17 shots and we lost cuz they stopped giving him the ball to watch Durant waste clock and lead to bad offense, dude was just holding it at half court for no reason.

It was not his best game but you guys destroy a player which is only 23 years old. Try to take too much responsibility is for you guys a problem and now giving the ball to KD is now also a problem! I understand if the Rockets lose blame Alpi! That works! But the stupid doubling Tari is no factor to lose or the 10 open 3's which every player didnt hit is also Alpis fault! Come on guys start to be fair! Its a long season and all the lose are close games! This Team is good and will learn to win this Clutch Games!
