Lol okay bro. Feel free and defend him all you want, but the reality is that your big man is supposed to be responsible for your rebounds. Both Raynaud and Westbrook had double digit rebounds while Sengun had 6. Sengun exclusively operates in the paint. Who would you like to blame for the rebound discrepancy if it’s not allowed to be Sengun? Or are we not allowed to say anything bad about Sengun?

In clutch this game rather than just playing. We got 4 offensive rebounds in one play and just kept kicking it back out to KD to waste time.

 

The two best teams in the West and maybe even the league in OKC and Denver use a big rotation.

sheppard needs to rise up and play like he's the #3 pick like he was drafted for.

hell, even jlin had the balls to waive off kobe to take a last second shot.

 

Maybe, but still Reed picks up his dribble waaaay too often away from the basket. He needs to stop thinking that he is always going to give the ball to Sengun or KD. Defenses have adjusted to this weakness and know that Reed is making mistakes because Ime is calling for him to give to KD or Sengun in the perimeter. Reed needs to be smarter and keep the dribble alive. Defenses are starting to pressure him past half court now and its working to throw him off.

You can blame Ime all you want at his instructions, but Reed has to take accountability for not giving himself an option when the defender is denying KD or Sengun.

 

Reed had some bad defensive moments tonight, especially down the stretch...

But in totality his defense wasn't close to the main issue. He was a ridiculous +17 in a 1 pt loss. He wasn't the only one to have bad moments down the stretch. He's absolutely got to not get taken advantage of like that in crunch time but this team has much bigger fundamental issues to address with their overall execution and decision making.

Yeah, the trade is only a Loss to me if Jalen turns out to be an all-star and then it does start to look bad.

If he's the usual Jalen then I don't think the trade was bad, I think it's good for guys to learn from Durant. I really don't think KD is the issue in these losses, yeah he makes mistakes but so does every player, he's still F'n Kevin Durant.

Like on my list of people to blame KD is down on that list. Man he gets an excuse I thought he'd be taking b2bs off this year considering his age, these young guns have NO excuse to look this fatigued on back to backs.

Agreed. However, a few adjustments in the 4th would have prevented us being in a 2 pt game in overtime...

I think the trade was more about how you felt about Brooks, a 1st rounder and the 2nd rounders.

• longer term Jalen is probably a 6th man scorer masquerading as starter and when he hits 3s he is looking like a borderlin All Star-
• At the time it was a W-W for both sides as both got what they desired but turns out Phoenix did really well with Brooks and their new head coach Ott.

I really don't understand why Steven doesn't play back to backs. I get he had a serious injury but at this point he has healed. We could of used his rebounding tonight after watch the Rockets struggle against the ****ing Kings.

 

Yeah I know some hate the idea here but if CP3 is basically free, I'd bring him in.

One of the best pure PGs to ever play in the NBA. He was giving the Clippers 15 mins a night we can use that I don't care what anyone says. I know his defense is bad now but really he would have help keep the scoreboard moving when they started to go on their run.

 

I know youre not here trying to compare Sengun to KD LOL. WTF said he's is supposed to be an Alpha? KD was brought here to be mr superstar closer. HE'S NOT. End of story. We should have never traded DIllion. And Jalen should have been shipped off to BK or somewhere else. This is all just a waste of time.

Top 10 offense when Steven Adams is there to grab all of our bricks for extra possessions...that's why I argue all these metrics are skewed and misleading. A plus/minus doesn't tell the whole story.

 

This is who I really want and I'd even trade Tari or Bari to get it done. He's only 25.
