I’m going to believe this is a trap game until it isn’t… I’ve been burned by Houston sports too many times to count. Losing to the raiders while the jags lose to the broncos would be so us…
This is no way to go through life. You sound like a cowboys fan. This mindset will lead to you having ulcers and a c*ck that doesnt work.
I assume he means Chubb will play against the Texans by running the ball forward slowly for 6” at a time
Fun Fact: Nick Chubb is 27th in the league at YPC (4.1, minimum 10 games) tied with such luminaries as Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts and Cam Scatteboo https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/player/_/stat/rushing/table/rushing/sort/yardsPerRushAttempt/dir/desc
I get it, but a high of 61 yards and two runs all season over 20 yards, none over 30. A pattern of “grind it out, but for a maximum of 60 yards, is not particularly compelling regardless of the average.
It depends. 0 yards with 3 YAC is a success for the RB. Not for the blockers whether on OL, RB or Receiver Corp. Success really is mostly based on team performance. Mixon last season was probably the aberration when he managed a handful of impact plays without much help..
Get well game. As in, if you have players that are questionable, perhaps you’d be better off giving them a 2nd Bye week. Raiders are terrible and management is playing for draft position. Get well also should mean using this opportunity to get the struggling offense some confidence, especially in the red zone, false or otherwise
Hey now, don’t be going through my medical files… And you can make fun of my impotence all you’d like… but don’t you DARE call me a cowboys fan.
Let's not try the hb toss play with Chubb. Although, you could get a few fake tosses for chunk plays to Dalton. More Jaws.
Isn't the essence of a "trap game" that you don't treat it like a real game? I mean, if you expect a trap, it's pretty easy to avoid it, right? Unlike the Spanish Inquisition.
