Dealt for who? What’s the prognosis or details of the injury? All that was stated in reports was soreness. Until more information comes everything is only speculation at this point. Players get injured frequently in this league. Look at other guys like Embiid, AD, or Zion or even Curry at this point. It’s easy to say “let’s trade” a player without any comparable value in return. Injuries are part of this game and Tari has been a valuable piece to this team. Let’s relax have faith he heals up and ready to play better than ever.
I know this is just an aside but I felt this needed to be corrected...Bey going off was mostly on Jabari. Bey was mostly Bari's job and Bey targeted him relentlessly.
I don’t agree with that assessment that Udoka “doesn’t have a clue”. That’s what a coaching staff is for. Sullivan has a lot of input in how they run their offense. So do the other assistants. It’s always a collaborative process in terms of game planning or drawing up sets and implementing style of play etc. Rockets personnel is reflected in the way they play which is turnover prone and low assists. We don’t have a reliable point that can come of high screen and Sengun isn’t a pick and pop guy. Durant is best iso and Sengun is good in his spots which sets up cuts and threes. If only Amen could stretch defenses then the Rockets would blow teams out each night or at least edge out more wins. Our limitations without a stretch 5 and a combo guard that can’t shoot still hampers our team. Only difference this year is Durant is a better iso player and more consistent than Green and can get off mid range shots in more areas on the floor.
Udoka has a clue but you also cant deny he seems to be a level below the top coaches. He frequently ices out players when they are starting to heat up and our offensive plays always leave a lot to be desired mostly relying on the iso talents of KD and Sengun.
It’s because they’re our best players. Unfortunately we don’t have a guard that can get in the paint and shoot so everything comes off posts or isos. I don’t like how udoka doesn’t use a deeper rotation and maybe more offball screens. But i think he works with what he has for the most part.
It's not if, it's when. Tari is healing, there's plenty of interest and Clint will be gone, too. Josh doesn't need the ball in any sense like Tari to be effective. His impact is fantastic.
He might end up being a guy like Time Lord at this point. Career bench player who is really good and impactful when available, but can't stay on the court enough to get a big payday or make a major impact on the regular season. You just hope he's available for some quality, game-changing bench minutes in a key playoff series or three.
All of their wings ate and ate well. The point is that Amen wrecks our spacing on offense and can't get his own shot, and to offset that he would need to be a defense unto himself, and he's certainly not that either. Draymond Green would burn the arena down before he'd let the Pels score 70 in a half. Amen is a very good defender, and maybe even great, but he doesn't dominate the game on that end.
Majority of the posters were whining about not extending Tari in the offseason. Turns out Rox made the right decision. Stone deserves the credit. In Stone I trust? I’m probably still not there yet, although very close. But I trust that they know more than random posters on an Internet forum, including those that whine about coaching every day.
Likely hopes some teams have not done their homework....which is minimal hope. The Knicks have moved on with guys such as OG and Mikal Bridges. They also got Yabusele.
I think Tari wants to be on a bad team to get a bunch of shots up. He thinks he is an all-star caliber player with a higher usage.
You really have no understanding of what you are watching, huh? Absolutely wild. Like I cannot even imagine being so wrong about a player.
