J’wan Roberts missed so many bunnies in his career. He was not a reliable scorer in the post. He absolutely killed us with all the infuriating point blank misses in the championship game.

J'wan was a plough horse and an overachiever.

Changes nothing about what I said.

he was a good defender. He was even an adequate passer. He was not a good scorer. He was not a reliable answer in the post at all.

I totally agree with you about missing the chippies. Dude was undersized (which contributed to those misses), but got the most out of it.

The team is facing a substantial challenge this afternoon. Beating the Hogs on their home turf will not be easy. Have the Coogs progressed? I hope they are up to it. BIG TEST!

    They're playing in New Jersey.

...and as good as Flemings has been as a freshman, Darius Acuff has been better

Why are they playing in NJ? Is it a tournament?

    I wondered that as well.

Powerhouse programs Houston and Arkansas will meet at the Never Forget Tribute Classic, a crucial non-conference showdown on Saturday, December 20 at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. This will be the eighth edition of the Never Forget Tribute Classic, which is hosted by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE). The event has supported various 9/11-related charities and will do so once again in 2025.

Good to have a final great non-conference game to get ready for B12 play. Also good for recruiting.

On a neutral court, I will take the Coogs. At Hogs' house, toss up.

Much easier with brazille on the bench with 2 fouls.

Please - no more missed free throws.

Walker - maybe this years Mylik Wilson?

UH loves to squander a good lead at the end of a half

The Hogs really cranked up the defense. Coogs will adjust.

Case in point. Last 20 seconds of first half. Acuff made a great play to end the half. Flemings should have held for last shot making Acuff's play possible. Even though we scored a lot of points coach is going to chew some ass at halftime.

We are not used to playing this type of game and it shows. Who knows how this one will end up.

We need a capable backup or plan of what to do when Tugler gets into foul trouble. Which he inevitably does against good teams.

Not allowed to guard Ewin. 14 free throw attempts for one player with 18 minutes left in the game.

How in the blue f**k is UH not used to playing a good team on a neutral court?
