You just can’t miss both free throws. Shaq makes at least one of those. And with KD on the team, we gotta go to him for some of these end of game shots.
Yes hes always done this. The difference is Jalen's not here to point blame at. No reason Sengun should be taking last second shots
I have no idea why Alperen Sengun is acting like a selfish player in last second shots. They are absolutely horrific.
it is kinda crazy how we’re always going to Sengun so much in the clutch when KD is right there hell, KD was 12-15 from field in that game vs the Pelicans, and we’re constantly giving the rock to the dude who was 11-26 and can barely do sh*t outside out the paint… make it make sense
That was literally it. if he played him, not just for Sheppard’s shots…but just to open up KD’s space and give him some room the game ends. udoka is pathologically delusional and stubborn. Pop can do those type of things, but he also had 5 rings
**** KD. Never shoulda traded for him. He isnt proven either. He just latched on to a winning team and has done nothing since.
I was excited about the trade, but to be honest had not really watched KD except when he played the Rockets. I had no idea he was such a terrible passer and so reliant on that middle jumper. He is a poor offensive fit for the talent on this team, but I’m not sure there is a fit when you have such an athletic, young team and a coach that wants to play JVG ball.
I don’t understand what yall are watching. He’s made so many clutch buckets for us this year. The one to tie versus magic. The one last game against Denver to put us up. No one is going to be 100% on those shots… If we need a 2 going to sengun is the right play. If we need a 3 he should never touch the ball.
KD has tunnel vision and has been getting his cookies taken like an old man and cant make free throws in the clutch. I hope that clears this up for you lol
Perfect response, Durant shouldn’t be the initiator of our offense. He is one of the best shooters the game has ever seen and still is, but he needs his coach to design a system that accentuates his positives and hides his weaknesses
KD is a 92% free throw shooter in the clutch…Sengun is a 59% free throw shooter KD shoots 50% from the field and 50% from deep in the clutch…Sengun shoots 41% and 0% from deep KD has a 1.8 assist to turnover ratio in the clutch…Sengun has a 1.57 so no idea what you’re talking about
You can manipulate all the clutch time stats you want. I watched the games. Against Denver and OKC he missed free throws to ice the game. Those numbers youre showing are not just against top tier teams but bad ones too. When we really need KD against a top tier team he fumbles. Which is part of why we never beat one. Yet you guys are putting it all on Sengun. I knew this **** would happen when we got KD. His on off numbers with the Suns looked great last year. THEY ARE A BETTER TEAM WITHOUT HIM THIS YEAR DESPITE INJURIES.
the 92% clutch time free throw shooter can’t make free throws in the clutch…sure Sengun’s clutch numbers are against those same teams, so not sure what point you think you’re making you’re just saying sh*t
Sengun is probably the most clutch player we have (based on my eye test and leaky memory). CF jokes aside, we don't have a franchise player when we give him the ball by default when we need a basket. Durant is the closest in that regard but he's halfway washed and doesn't like to shoot in high pressure situations.
because it’s just a bunch of random made up sh*t I’m supposed to take what you’re saying seriously when you start off by telling me a 92% free throw shooter in the clutch can’t make free throws in clutch time? And when we’re comparing it to Sengun’s 59%? Maybe somebody else will, but not me
