With three games left, there is still a possibility that we win the South and both JAX and IND are wildcards we could play at home on the way to a Superbowl. Is it far fetched? You bet. But so is being 9-5 after a 3-5 start.

The most likely scenario is Houston winning the division and being the 3 seed hosting Jacksonville as the 6 seed WC.

Even if Indy beats the Jags and 49ers, they would need Bills or Chargers lose out which won't happen. They basically have no shot to make playoffs now.

The first in the entire history of what, the last 4 or so years the teams played 17 games? :)

Demeco trusts him enough to relinquish play calling duties. That took 2 years and a near collapse of the season three games in. The next guy might not have that kind of trust from Demeco and thus might make him take back play calling duties.

I think Demeco has become a better coach because of Burke so yeah, I feel losing Burke would be a loss to the overall team.

Yes, losing the DC of the best defense in football would be a big loss :)

Oh hell, I hadn't thought of that angle.

I mean, it's great that he's getting interview(s), it makes the job that much more attractive to his potential replacement if it comes to that.

If we didn't have General Mills, I would want Malik Willis as our backup QB (or Joe Milton).

I consider Brissett a starting QB.
