Just makes the pattern less realistic when you can’t get the date right when Ime actually coached

Left shin again? Tari should have taken the money when he could have.

I didn't get the date wrong at all, I was specifically describing what happened after he left and if you go to my post addressing Tari directly you'll see the advice was that Ime won't be around. I've also made this argument several times in the past and you can go see just how many times I said it's about after he left.

It sounds like y'all have an agenda to argue, and when you do that your brain only sees what it wants to see.

It's hilarious how bad he fumbled his contract.

The Rockets knew the downside going into this year. We should have already dealt this guy.

It's a shame tbh, because if he has no health issues he's actually the second later draft pick who came in and overperformed from the start. He's Jabari's version of Alpi, and similarly to that comparison he also has a lot of heart and hustle that you just can't teach. When you think about it, we've actually not drafted that great now the dust has settled. Jalen underperformed (i still don't think he's a bust, but he's clearly not a star either) Alpi massively overperformed but still has a lot of the same weaknesses he needed to fix. Jabari underperformed, Tari overperformed but can't stay healthy. Amen probably deserves his draft spot at least, Cam was in the same category as Jgup, Garuba and TyTy and Reed's a good player from a historically **** draft. A more promising future than before the tank for sure, but i do think in retrospect that we're more fringe competitor level than cemented perennial threat team I'm afraid.

He lucked out that Tari did not accept their overpayment contract, but an offer should have never been made based on Tari’s lengthy injury history. Unfortunately, no team will take him now so he becomes a net negative. The oblique injury was literally a bump with Holiday and it set the guy back over a month. The shin injury has been years. Good player, but who wants to pay big for the overwhelming risk attached to the guy.

As in, the late first round pick out performed the supposed future star potential player in their respective drafts.

His shin is sore and he hasn’t even been playing. Yikes!

I feel bad for him, but not signing the contract may really come back to haunt him. He was playing so well earlier this season too.

I’m not giving up on Tari…ever! I love a player with an unstoppable motor. And I actually think his shooting improvement is real (obviously he won’t sustain 50%, but I’m convinced he’s improved the shooting). I can’t give up on Tari just because he’s got a potential long term injury. I think Tari will have to get realistic about his compensation given his lack of availability and reoccurring injury risk. If he does that i think the org should continue to be patient. I’m hoping that’s where things are headed. Tari should be focused on getting healthy and I hope he and the org can arrive at an agreement where he can keep trying to recover in a supportive environment with a supportive organization.
