if I was all over the Epstein files, I wouldn’t release them either…and if I did, it would be the most redacted document in history

 

There's just an abundance of smoke, billowing and billowing out of Trump's past. If someone feels their tax cut or regulation cut is worth their basic human decency, they can keep screaming that there's no fire with this particular guy, but damn:

• Creepy work with teen "modeling" and "competitions" (why?)
• Wanting to be in teen modeling dressing rooms (why?)
• Creepy (and ongoing) connections to known pedos (like Zampolli) (why?)
• 20+ accusations of sexual assault (and counting) (why?)
• Creepy birthday message to Epstein (why?)
• Access Hollywood braggadocio (why, if that's not exactly what he was doing?)

If you're NOT guilty of, at the very least, being a major perv, why do any of those sets of evidence exist, like, at all? Never mind any two of those things. But all six of those, (and more, it seems). The orange defenders have lots of self-tying pretzels to work on. Isn't going to be easy. Cherry picking one sentence from otherwise creepy and damning articles is such a weak start to their holiday season, with stockings stuffed with creepy sludge they want to hide from public view.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Friday slammed the Justice Department’s release of a trove of documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.


“The law Congress passed calls for the complete release of the Epstein files so that there can be full transparency. This set of heavily redacted documents released by the Department of Justice today is just a fraction of the whole body of evidence,” he said. “Simply releasing a mountain of blacked out pages violates the spirit of transparency and the letter of the law. For example, all 119 pages of one document were completely blacked out. We need answers as to why.”

“Senate Democrats are working to assess the documents that have been released to determine what actions must be taken to hold the Trump administration accountable. We will pursue every option to make sure the truth comes out,” he added.
