Rockets really messed up hiring this Dictator Ime Udoka. Benching players the whole game on purpose is ridiculous. Rudy Tomjanovich benching Vernon Maxwell in 1995 because of really bad shooting and his ego personality of wanting to start is completely different than what Ime Udoka is doing, the Rockets players are young and needs experience on the floor, getting benched doesn't help.
what's worse is icing them (playing clear favorites since the people causing the issues were playing), and then asking them to bail you out the last 3 seconds of the game. Its not surprising he lacked the self awareness to not **** a coworker's wife and his team got better after he left
Benching Jalen Green on purpose over Fred VanVleet, when Fred VanVleet was shooting even worse during the season makes it worse.

It has literally nothing to do with KD. It's more the fact Ime improved a team which played under someone who paraded as a coach, and the team improved like it would've with anyone the second Silas was gone. You're now seeing repeatedly, time after time, Ime abused by other coaches in important games. But yeah. It's absolutely KD's fault Ime is forcing Alpi to play to his weakness 99% of the game beyond the 3 point line and rarely ever touching the ball inside where his vision and footwork - you know, his two most potent skills - are utilised. Or Amen. Remember how how was literally the best defensive perimeter player in the league last year? Tell us how he looks on the defensive end this year. And then tell us why that's KD's fault. Hint: your bias is showing.

A little overreaction but at the same time your points are not wrong. Ime's biggest problem is his evaluation of how his players are doing real time vs his mental perception of what they are. If they garnered his respect he will have bias. If Reed doesn't do a proper defensive assignment or bricks his 3 then nothing else he does in the game will matter. At the end of the day though Reed needs to make his shots. I been saying this for a year now but he needs to make sure his base is planted before he shoots. He keeps shooting before he gets his feet set. I haven't watched him in college so I am not sure if he always just shot off balanced but made them, but most of his misses come from that. Ime is still one of the better coaches in the league, but he too has his flaws and rotations are one of his bigger ones. He made a comment today about off ball movement saying it was stagnant but that has been a problem his entire rockets tenure. Hopefully he will realize his offense is a major issue.

Yall act like great head coaches are just chilling on the bench waiting for their name to be called to see if they’d be a better fit. This man took an absolutely horrible team, and turned them into a second seed in the playoffs. Now you want to get rid of him? Just watched the game after getting off work. Before the game started I said "if we lose this game..." but never finished the thought because... well it's the Pelicans. Then sure enough we are up 20 points and I figured we would cruise. Then we were in OT, and I thought, well we can't lose 2 games in a row in OT, right? Then I came here... to see how far CFs had gone off the deep end. I found this thread. I wasn't let down. OP was definitely emotional after the game. I am gonna go to bed. It was just a game.
