Curious that farm bankruptcies are rising just when AI data centers have developed an insatiable desire for rural land.

 

It more has to do with diesel prices skyrocketing causing fertilizer prices to skyrocket over the past couple months. I just came back from Southeast Asia and there's mass protests happening everywhere in the global south because Farmers don't have fertilizer and people are stressing out that people are going to go starving. Americans don't realize how bad this Iran war is destroying the global south
