Gotta clean up those fatigue fouls on defense down the stretch and get that 3 point jumper back. Still tough as nails when we need a 2 point bucket in crunch time
It seems he's not good enough. I saw complaints that he's been outclassed by the best player in the world... It was a close game at the end cuz somehow he dragged the team down...
If you are in the conversation with Jokic, you are doing great. No shame on being a notch below the best player in the world
He's still got a few things to hammer out. Mainly I hope the coaching staff can get it into his head that he needs to stop barking at the officials instead of getting back on defense. If there's a stoppage in play, whatever, he is who he is personality-wise. But you can't be giving up even more points on the other end because you're pissed off about a call not going your way. Jump shot needs to keep developing. All of that said, at this point I've seen enough, I'm comfortable building around him as the main guy for the foreseeable future. It may still end up being a 1A/1B situation with Amen depending on how he develops, but I was wrong to get too dismissive of Sengun after he kind of stagnated last season. I didn't know he had this level in him.
It is nice to see people can own up to not realizing a player's full potential. Way to go, kudos to you.
Sengun had the winning bucket plus the uncalled foul. What the hell are you guys talking about. He also poked away the ball in the closing minutes from Jokic that nobody picked up. Two offensive fouls from Jokic on post ups just in the 4th, which the refs looked the other way. They were obvious fouls like Alpi's. My only complaint is they should have blitzed Jokic on the PnR 3pt shots. Let Murray drive it for 2 and live with it.
The ONLY problem I have with Alpi is he will not take the 3pt when its open. The first game of the yr against OKC he hit 4 or 5, then all of a sudden he start back with the Pump Fakes.....TAKE THE 3!
That is precisely why, he shot FIBA 3s in the Euro contest, and won Silver medal......and then against the Champs he showed off. The further he got into the season, his old shooting mechanism set in.
Gotta ring up them votes for Alpi, KD, and Amen every day If you're going to vote for other teams' players for the last two make sure it's guys already guaranteed to get in as starters, not guys at the fringe of reserve status
Reed has to be in the 3 pt shooting contest. Do they still have that. I don't keep up with all these gimmicks the alien commish draws up.
Plus trying to show the foul by shouting or exaggerating the body movements. It really works against him. Too much pressure on the ref, let them do their job. If they suck, they don’t have an excuse.
I dunno man, he's 3/21 (14%) from 3 in his last 10 games. And also, I know people see/site the "35% on the year" number but if you remove that one outlier game against OKC he's only shooting 30%. I think he's still a really bad 3 point shooter. I'm still conflicted on whether or not I want him to take those shots.
