This splitting seasons into parts has really made th shows difficult to watch often times won’t remember everything and the experience is just disjointed. pretty meh overall, Netflix has been milking this like it’s GoT but after the first 2 seasons has really just been a slightly above average show
They’re pushing his identity angle too much into his characters inner conflict. Not hating or anything but it just forces too many dimensions of the plot
The show has been super forgetful given these long pauses but I think they’ve been hardcore dancing around it for some time and yea, making it such a central plot theme is stupid and detracts from everything else. I agree with the thread the actor for will just isn’t cutting it, but it may not be his fault
I think so too, it really ruins pacing and excitement breaking the show off like that. As far as Will is concerned I think he gonna die as a "hero" in order to protect Mike the love of his life lol... I really wish they stopped making gayness central plot focuses on shows and movies. No one cares.....
That seems like the only real scenario because I doubt netflix is going to make Mike switch sides and give them a happy ending. Its also just a weird corner they painted themselves into. Robin already plays for the other team, but apparently just isn't enough
Maybe Mike was only using eleven to fight his feelings for Will, maybe eleven is trans hence the haircut in the 1st season... Oh look, I can be a Netflix writer!!
I've never watched an episode. Same with Game if Thrones. People love this series, but the premise isn't all that appealing to me. Is it worth the time to push through? I'm open to trying it out. Then again, I loved Ozark, Shameless,Dark, The Following, The Fall, Yellowjackets and the Handmaids Tale. Maybe I need to give this a chance?
I thought this show was fine. It was a good thriller with a crisp plot, but I didn't love how they handled the ending.
