The refs need to have body cams on live at all times.

I mean, we effectively did beat them, if you discount one bad call by the officials. That was my point. I think it's important to be process-based, not results-based, when it comes to things like the regular season in NBA basketball. You would be praising the Rockets for their gutty win right now if the refs hadn't called Amen for a phantom tripping foul.

Yes, I understand all the arguments about "you should put teams away, one bad call shouldn't be able to beat you" and so on. But I don't buy them, really. When two top teams are really really invested and locked in, these contests are often extremely close, because the talent level is extremely close. Of course things like officiating and random chance can play a big role in the actual result.

I think we played well. Of course there were mistakes and things to improve on, same was true for Denver. But we were playing at a high level and we effectively matched Denver's level in this game. I'm fine with that for now.

Harper changes everything for them. He is the engine that runs the ship.

Wow, congrats Knickerbockers! Robinson the Wemby stopper. OG Anunoby long lost Rocket target.

He’s a better non-shooter than Castle. I’m going to go out on a limb and say a high end comp for Castle is Tyreke Evans.

Stop celebrating the Knicks W and focus on what trades we need to do to BTA the spurs.

A taller Kyle Lowry before Lowry found his 3 ball.

It is either Tyreke Evans or Dwyane Wade.......who could not shoot as well.....or a blend of both.

Interesting, because the Amen foul at the end of regulation was not reviewed according to the report that ESPN published an article on, so it seems like they did not say it was correct, just that it wasnt reviewed, which does not make sense they would not review. Unless they do not review plays that were already reviewed in game, because then you really make the league look fixed.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/47329064/three-incorrect-calls-favored-nuggets-ot-win

"One of the most crucial calls in the game, a foul against Thompson for tripping Hardaway that resulted in a tying free throw for the Nuggets in the waning seconds of regulation, was not reviewed by the report. But it was challenged by Houston during the game and upheld upon review."

There is no way that call should have been upheld. You include that and you have four missed calls from the last seconds in reg + OT all going in favor or Denver, including a play that was challenged and reviewed. At some point you have to realize this is not an authentic league.

You wouldn't believe it, but ESPN was talking ****

    00:02.3 To 00:00.0
    Period:Q4 Time:00:02.3
Call Type: Foul: Away from Play
    Player:Amen Thompson
    Opponent:Tim Hardaway Jr. Review Decision:CC Video Url:Video

Comment: Replay review of the foul called on Thompson (HOU) pursuant to a coach's challenge was deemed unsuccessful. Thompson clips Hardaway Jr.'s (DEN) right heel with his left knee, which is what causes him to fall forward before the additional foot contact as he is falling.

Still feel like this is a lie though. The last two minute report writers are assholes

I guess that’s a positive way to view this. I see your point. I’m not too terribly upset at the loss. Just a few things to tighten up moving forward and fix what’s plagued us all season (TO’s, finishing on fast breaks/paint etc).

I'm not taking this game seriously. I'm not surprised with the inept officiating. I wanted to whine and talk trash but I'm conserving all that energy for post all-star game and playoffs. Get key players back and see where we are after the trade deadline.

True, but a potential trade or a buyout can help the team at the February deadline.
